The texture of my Ocean City is quite poor. Stiff and hard from the get-go.
Some reported that too, I read the comments and reviews here, my Sunset Beach is very good ( and my skin is very dry, prone to redness the blush gives a lovely glow ). Many blushes ( all brands ) are manufactured in Italy would it be a storage issue ? I do not know but when températures are rising here all my blushes become a bit stiff except the Chanel ones ( baked formula ). Well ?

I don't know what it could be. I don't have any problems with any other. Corol is very very slightly stiff on the surface but two passes are enough to get pigment. OC is like a hard layer.

Aside from the swatches of the es being poor, a lot of the colors are not something that I would wear on a regular basis. Not enough to justify purchase. Plus the promo pic showing the eye look doesn't excite me at all.

Girls, this collection sounds like a epithaph to the defuncted chanel make up line ... I'll wait and see in person , so far it seems that since PP has gone, quality has gone away from the brand following him. P phillips is a genious, no doubt, but the brand is not is own creation, it has a long history on his own and I think it will go on in the next future

Yes Hopefully. We have the baked formula here so it will be a bit different. But D I cannot believe it really . Chanel will never be the same without Peter Philips I fear but he did create that blush to my knowledge ... T. gave F to Proenza Schouler so I do not trust her, that blush deserves a B or a B + ! Maybe her skin has become dry or something she swatched so many products in her Life that I would understand fully that kind of issue or the batch was very bad or... Sadly enough for Chanel she is right, well
We mentioned dior swimmin pool palette yesterday evening ... It got F from temptalia !

I remember thinking it was so pretty but there were some negative reviews... I think they said it was chalky. If I remember correctly.
Your memory is good. I got despite the negative review, which had some reasons, it was not the best dior product but you could work it out

Swimming Pool now, it is definitely chalky, except the es in the middle. The pattern ruined the texture I think.

Aurora is in better shape, I still use it and love it, in fact I love both ! The shades are beautiful IMO

I am waiting for another blogger to review Innocence before I completely write it off. I appreciate T's blog, but I do not always agree with her reviews.

I will purchase the blush, I have 14 JC blushes and honestly I have never been disappointed so far. Stardust is not easily buildable but it's a Holiday blush, and it's so pretty. As for the other ones, I can't do without them. My Horizon blush ( LE ) is beautiful and I often use it, ALL my Chanel blushes were worth purchasing. Innocence shall be mine, we'll see..
T gave a F to Pedro Lourenço Corol, it's one of the most delicate ever and it works very well for me. If I had listened to the bloggers before splurging, I would not have a single makeup product...
But this time, well, just wait and see.

They were both faboulous (and aurora a real blockbuster). i felt a red carpet cannes diva the first time I wore SP that why I finally chose it

Just a little reminder to keep us on topic... Dior discussion should really go on the Dior thread (although comparisons between Dior and Chanel products are more than welcome). I know that there are plenty of people who want to hear reactions and reviews of Dior products there. Just trying to keep things (moderately) organised! Thanks for your cooperation.

And here are Temptalia's reviews of the glosses:

And the eye shadows:

It's interesting, because I get the sense that she's genuinely conflicted. I know that she loves bright, bold colours, so I get the feeling she really wanted to like this collection, but, as suspected, the colour payoff just doesn't seem to be there on the shadows (or the blush).

At this point, none of the shadows are really tempting me, because I feel like I have shades that are close enough and have better quality. VERY disappointed to read that they don't actually work that well damp. Since they're advertised as working either way, it's embarrassing if they harden when exposed to a moist brush.

If I went solely by a blogger's ratings I would have missed out on some lovely makeup products. When in doubt, check it out-----for yourself. I know that's not
always feasible for a number of reasons but I would prefer to return a product than miss out on something that I might have loved.

Yes exactly. I never returned a product in fact, not a single one lol. I did make a few mistakes, but when I see a product on the Internet ( promo and official pictures ) I know what I need, I think I was born in Makeup Land ! :) Besides our blogs here have all affiliations ( like almost every blog on earth ) but here it really shows and it gets on my nerves. I love reading the bloggers, but I am not influenced by them at all, I am lurking a Bobbi Brown es palette ( coming soon, Surf & Sand ), and a lippie, well the swatches are useless to me, I know I will love the palette. The same with MAC, when I order online I never look at the swatches before, TF Vampire Kiss

well I know I need it ! lol

Hi Ladies! I went to Saks this morning for an appointment with a makeup artist and picked up few things from this collection.  The artist did a toned down version of the cover look with the pink, purple and yellow eye. It was toned down but still WOW for day! lol. I ended up buying the the yellow gold (Admiration) & burgundy (Hesitation) ,

Is there any microshimmer in Confident? And may I ask how many passes you used for the hand swatch?
@awickedshape There is no microshimmer in Confident that I can see. Although I can not remember exactly how many passes I did with the lipstick I know that it was quite a lot. I do not recommend this for someone who has pigmented lips and wants a lot of color. This is a very sheer MLBB lipstick for me. BTW, I did try on Aura the other day when I went back and it is gorgeous and gives a good color payoff.
