I agree with Dominique. I don't think we can miss him at Chanel yet. Just as Dior fans can't get excited over his work yet - Dior announced his first work for them would be seen in 2015:

Exactly Winthrop. In this collection " Etats Poétiques " some items were created by the Master himself and others by the artistic team. Some repromotes in the Summer collection ( the white np which was initially launched a long time ago ), it's never easy when the Artistic Director leaves. Tyen was a bit pushed away, he had been working for Dior for 30 years and he is a Master too IMO. And one of the greatest of all too. Each Dior collection is different, drawing its inspiration from a different source each time ( Garden Party, Croisette, Cherie Bow, Bird of Paradise, Mystic Metallics, Golden Winter, Transat..... to name the recent ones), his legacy is a huge one in fact. Peter Philips has not the same background, well we'll have to wait a little before seeing his first créations for Dior.

So I should look closely at Dior's 2015 collections lol

Yes I think we all should, Peter Philips is an artist ( attended Les Beaux Arts, in Belgium ), I really expect a lot from him ! I expect a lot from all artistic Directors lol but this time still more ! All are very talented, Peter Philips is my favourite, his work for Chanel was very very elegant indeed and innovative too IMO.

Hi. i thought I just chime in, the palette you are talking about is Aurora, I already compared these two in case you want to check out (http://www.colormeloud.com/2014/04/dior-5-couleurs-transat-edition-564.html) Having said that, although theme is close, they look very different on the eyes. I think it is mainly because of the textures as you already pointed out. Sundeck balances the textures really good but I have never really fallen for Aurora (apart from the name being prettier)  ;-)
Thank you for your review, I was eagerly waiting for someone to compare aurora and sundeck. I got swimming pool, it had a pastel look I found irresistible that year

After seeing swatches, I have a maybe list: Songe, Innocence (most likely a skip), and Atmosphere. That's it.

All of the eye singles are a skip b/c of the quality. I have the quad already. I don't need anymore pink RCS.

More money to put towards the TF fall line. Plus I need to check out the leather fetish palette that everyone is talking about.

Only bought Songe glossimer because it had such a pretty iridescence -- looks like a really pretty lipstick topper (although I have a gazillion glossimers -- can never have too many ;))

If you check out the swatch section on Temptalia, she has pictures of all the eye shadows, the glosses and the blush, with suggested dupes.

Her swatches seem in line with everything we've seen so far: consistency seems dry on the shadows and the colours don't seem to get as vibrant as you'd think from looking at them.

D for a JC blush ? It cannot be true ! She never gave a D to a Chanel blush I think. What happened ? :( Sad to read this .

She seemed pretty shocked by it herself. The swatches look nice, but she says it's heavily layered. I hope it's better in person, because the shade is very pretty.

Yes Hopefully. We have the baked formula here so it will be a bit different. But D I cannot believe it really . Chanel will never be the same without Peter Philips I fear but he did create that blush to my knowledge ... T. gave F to Proenza Schouler so I do not trust her, that blush deserves a B or a B + ! Maybe her skin has become dry or something she swatched so many products in her Life that I would understand fully that kind of issue or the batch was very bad or... Sadly enough for Chanel she is right, well

The texture of my Ocean City is quite poor. Stiff and hard from the get-go.
