I experienced the total opposite! I will keep trying tho I want these to work. I love looking at the tubes all together, I don't want to part with them!

The matte finish is what has me lemming. I've never tried CDN though,may take a look at it soon.

I'm sure you could make SP work with the right lip liner. I have a mini pencil of in synch and that liner is a pretty yellow toned pink but for me it doesn't really help make any nudes work for me personally.

I'm slowly but surely becoming matte lipstick obsessed. I'll have to check out CDN soon then.

Liner, Patent Polish, lipglass, or my fav is a Lusture. ALMOST any lustre will work to add only a pinch of color or smoothness.

Very true! Maybe you could even use your SS when it comes over top of it. That would probably turn out super pretty.

we are in the same boat, I want them to work on me, but I don't see how, this morning I tried and I look dead, I dabbed rh like it was suggested by other ladies, and eeew, it was ok. And them I try something like flamingo, or watch me simmer, and it flatters me more, and I ask myself, why choose to look half dead when I can look nicer and alive. It shouldn't be so hard to work a lipstick. :huh:

Those are brights, not closer to nudes. If you aren't used to seeing yourself in a nude or toned down lipstick it may not look like what you are used to seeing. Nudes aren't for everyone and SP and RH will not look bright like Flamingo or WMS ever. Why oh why did I skip CB?? All this talk about CB vs Dandelion is making me have serious skippers remorse! I did buy another NARS blush so that's probably why I talked myself out of CB. Now I'm kicking myself!!

Oh my god!!! I called up to my local MAC counter inside Dillard's on a whim. They had ONE CB left!!! She is putting it aside for me to pick up tomorrow since they close in like 20 minutes! It's fate!!! I can't stop smiling!!!
