With Poesie, I am in love with the top left and bottom right colors, the brighter ones. Dunno if I can justify loving 50% of the quad. That seems to be the issue I also have with the other quads that are not in as yet. Really wish I was able to select and mix and match the colors to make my own perfect quad. Still on the fence about what I may get except the highlighter which I reserved. Maybe I will just close my eyes really really tight and hand over my CC, lol

For these and the YSL couture palettes, I'd love to rearrange certain colours to suit.

Wouldn't that be great. That would be too big a challenge for Chanel, me thinks!I bought the Poesie at Macy's yesterday. I was at Nordies today and asked about the quads and the SA said she only had one but was expecting the others soon. Of course the only one she had was Poesie. I told her I had just bought it but wished that I had bought it from her. She said she expects to get the rest during the sale. I told her I want the green one. Anyway. I wore Poesie today. I was worried that the colors would not show up on me but they did. They felt very buttery going on. They were not like the baked shadows with powder everywhere but in my pic you see the powder but I didn't even notice it with my naked eye or I would have wiped the palette off before I had taken the pic.
I wore the top left color on the lid with the darkest color in the crease and outer v and the top right color as a highlight. I did not try the bottom left color but it is darker than the other lighter color and that showed up well on my skin. When I finished my look, I really liked it but Tom Ford Orchid Haze popped in my head. I don't know that it looks the same but it reminded me of Orchid Haze in that it is like a plummy neutral quad. I don't know that it is a must have but I do really like it and I am glad I bought it. I think the Venetien is more of an attention grabber.
Here are my sad pics. I just don't think the pics do the quad justice. It is very nice especially that top left color like a rosey taupe shade. Actually now that I think of it maybe I can get Hesitation to pair with this one. I almost bought Hesitation yesterday but couldn't quite think of what to pair it with but I think it might look nice with this one.

Can't wait to get that highlighter----faint every time I see it. I'm addicted to them.

were my choices----I added them to my wish list. I still want Vendome but a different one may now come before Mademoiselle.

Hi, dear! I don’t know why I'm still looking at swatches lol What is tempting you before Mademoiselle? I like Mademoiselle but I prefer Rivoli. I might skip MAC x Simpsons and ask a friend who will be in the States later this month to try to get one for me if it's at all possible, giving my shipping restrictions. Although I should really be showing more love to my Naked2 palette...

Rivoli looks somewhat similar to Poésie---it's very pretty. I should be showing more love to my entire stash---but I have enough love to spare for new goodies.

The palette looks beautiful! Not as warm toned as I expected.
I'm looking forward to hear the thoughts on the new formula, I have Tisse Camelia for a while now and love it. I'm hoping to get my hands on Tisse Gabrielle soon.

I stopped by the Chanel counter Macy's today to see what fall items they had. The manager said she'd received a quad but didn't have a tester and didn't really know anything about it. She let me take a peek and I immediately said yes I'll take it also. Now that I'm home it turns out (didn't really check the name in store) it's the Poesie quad. Very pretty - must have. Also bought innocence blush (very subtle but love) , Orage polish, and confident lippie.

Glad to hear you like Poesie so much. I had different things in my online cart on different devices (was signed in on one and not the other until I ordered on the second) and didn't pay enough attention when I placed my order. I ordered doubles of a few things and poesie by mistake! :haha:

I just looked on my face chart for products that the SA in Nordies used on me this past weekend.
It included Innocence and Poesie. Unfortunately, both didn't wow me - not sure if it was due to her application or what. I couldn't run to the bathroom fast enough to wipe some off and tone it down.
On the bright side, I went in for a foundation match and I think I found a HG. The skincare items she used also smelled great and I might give them a whirl too.
