My True Red came today. Same damn color as Nars Heatwave lol. Maybe a touch more orange and of course it has a glossier finish. But, if you missed it, don't cry, it's dupable. It's becoming pretty obvious that I always gravitate towards the same types of colors. I don't mind too much, though. Getting rid of the lippies I never wear, like Pink Nouveau and Girl About Town, and replacing them with things I know I'll wear. True Red is super pretty and the gloss makes it sexier than Heatwave imo. Here's a pic for anyone interested:

My Nordies BU came today. I thought it was an empty box because I couldn't find it in the paper

My lipsticks from Nordies finally arrived yesterday, but my True Red succumbed to the summer heat and was broken when it arrived.

I could return it but Nordies would just bin it and it would be such a waste.

This is my worst case scenario! I've melted other things into a palette/containers before. I think there might be too much lipstick for one pan though.

I was able to save my TR!

I put in the fridge to solidify. It turns out that it was broken pretty much near the base of the lipstick where it hits the plastic molding. I was able to maneuver it so that it sat correctly without wobbling. Not sure if I feel like applying heat to try and melt it back together... it's usable in the tube, but I gotta be pretty gentle with it.

I just put it on and love the color! I reads very orange my olive skin tone... perfect summer color!
