MAC Early Buzz - News for Upcoming Collections in 2014

[COLOR=181818]I would like a neutral collection with eyeshadows and blushes of deep taupes, mauves, neutral dark brown and brownish pinks i the matte2-formula. [/COLOR][COLOR=181818]I think that if they manage to balance the colours and make them deep and intens enough, they will suit absolutely everybody, women of colour too. And it would be so interesting if all the powder products (eye shadows and blushes) would be in the matte2 and the lipsticks in retro matte formula. Mac can come and take my money today if this collection comes soon.[/COLOR]
And Mac; take your customers seriously and make this collection a non LE collection.

I am ready for more permanent collections. It's about time they freshened up the permanent line, especially the shadows.

The higher the SPF, the more drying the product. Definitely try it out before you buy it.

I am ready for more permanent collections. It's about time they freshened up the permanent line, especially the shadows.

I'm all for freshening up the permanent collection but not at the expense of getting rid of old favorites. I saw yesterday in the discontinued thread that there are rumors of MAC getting rid of C-Thru LG, Siss LP, Stripdown, Boldly Bare, and Oak Lip Liners. Like what?

What??? That is ridiculous! Oh, and I agree... I don't want them to get rid of anything. Especially not staples like those! They just need to expand a bit. I'd be happy with just 5 or 6 new shadows added to the permanent line.

Yep. I was and still am shocked. I hope it just stays a rumor and nothing materializes from it.

I really can't see them getting rid of nightmoth. I still think it's all just a rumor. They will really be alienating WOC, especially, if they discontinue it.

. They can get rid of C-thru because I hate it, but it would be strange. That was the color they were pushing hard in the 90s. And it sounds like they are bring back the 90s lips in an upcoming collection. In fact, many of these liners were paired with those brown/grey (corpse like) lips back then. I recently got into Stripdown and really like it for nude lips. I think Oak liner was popular with those lips back then too.

Thank goodness! The rumor is honestly ridiculous because some of those colors are super popular, so it makes no sense on why they'd even contemplate discontinuing it.

I thought it was crazy when I first read it because it's so popular, but I asked anyway because I knew she'd know for sure. I'm pretty sure she almost slapped me when I asked her that.

Lol I hadn't heard this! I doubt it's true Mac has done some surprises though! I was surprised they discontinued kid eyeshadow
