Wow, that packaging is so ugly. It's as though some who is colorblind did this color ensemble ... but that is probably being too harsh on the colorblind audience out there. I don't like the boxy lines of the packaging either. It's a double yuck for me! :fluffy:

I still like orange and gray together, personally, even if I don't love the packaging design as a whole. I'm more concerned with seeing swatches, though. That's what will really make up my mind. Packaging is definitely secondary to product for me.

I guess I had enough wearing orange when I worked at The Home Depot. It wasn't a bad place to work at all (actually it was rather fun), but I don't want to see it with gray packaging. It's just not for me. Everybody else out there, enjoy your haul!

My husband used to work at Target, so he won't wear red and khaki anymore. Lol

Dear Neptune, the packaging looks all shades of awful

I'll probably get something from this collection when it comes to the CCO.

Does packaging really trump product now? Doesn't anyone care to see the swatches? I mean, I'm likely to skip this collection, too, but we've barely only gotten a glimpse of the actual products and yet it seems that almost everyone has already made up their minds to skip just based on a single picture of the packaging. I mean, that's fine, and no one should buy anything they dislike or won't use, but still...

The packaging is meh. But if I wanted to get all 80's and happy, I do like it.
But frankly for me the color descriptions are not doing anything for me.

I am not fond of the packaging but the CCB duo still piques my interest. I am thinking of skipping not bec of the packaging but the color story doesnt really interest me except for the duo. The 15 palette would have been really nice had they not included so many perm shades in that! Wil def wait for the swatches to base my final decision on though!

I wish the x15 palette didn't have so many perm shades, too. It's mostly perm shades that I enjoy, but yeah. I'm kind of interested in the ccb duo as well

Totally valid, and you've been saying that for a while, not just since the packaging pic came out. I'm sure some of the people who are skipping now just weren't interested in the color story to begin with, but it does feel like some seem to base their entire decision on the packaging. This packaging just feels too plain and boring to evoke much if a reaction from me either way... good or bad.

There is only 6 perm shades in the x15 palette...
And I have all the 6, so it doesnt make sense for me to get the palette @ 100 for the rest. Since perm shades are always available as pro pans, I really dont care having those in the LE palettes. Give me new shades!!!!!!
