MAC Early Buzz - News for Upcoming Collections in 2014

Brown Script doesn't really come out very deep on me... just slightly darker than a mid-tone and super warm. It really is a stunning shade. Do you have Handwritten? It's a beautiful deep brown with that dreamy matte2 texture. I'm so sad about tete-a-tint, too. I've been looking for it. If i see it anywhere, I'm nabbing it

I don't have Saddle but love, love, love Soft Brown. I use it for practically all of my eye looks tbh. Actually, I was chatting with one of my good friends a couple of weeks ago and she glanced at one of my eyeshadow palettes that was out and she was shocked that I hit pan on so many shadows. She said she's had some eyeshadows for years and has never totally finished one whereas I've gone through several pans of some colors and I've only been into MAC for two years. :sigh: Soft Brown is one of those colors lol Ugh, that sounds lovely. I've already added it to my cart because I really want to take advantage of the next day shipping coupon that's running right now. And no, I don't have Handwritten. I have Embark and Cork. Is it similar to that?

Get saddle too. I adore SB. I use it quite abit too. Almost always use it for any eye look. Dang girl hitting pan left and right lol

I wore it today with Naked on the lid, BS in the crease and a winked liner. No need for smokey. Just a simple classic eye and it was perfect!

Handwritten is close to Embark, just not as red. Is a mice chocolate brown.

It is an orange-brown. It's AMAZING!!!

This sounds perfect. I was actually looking for a chocolate-y brown when I purchased Embark and Cork but they were both too ashy and cool-toned if that makes sense? They both just weren't that warm dark brown that I was hoping for.

I've added it to my cart. I can always use a nice mid-tone brown. Hey, maybe this way I can alternate between Saddle and Soft Brown? They're pretty close in color, right? This sounds perfect. I was actually looking for a chocolate-y brown when I purchased Embark and Cork but they were both too ashy and cool-toned if that makes sense? They both just weren't that warm dark brown that I was hoping for.

Similar not really. Soft brown is lighter...and saddle is...well let me swatch them lol

Soft brown on top Right under it is Texture On the side of those two is Saddle. I threw in texture because it was similar but not really. HTH.

has anyone shopped at nordies for the look in the boxes??? i was gonna grab the coral lip set but umm yea after swatchin it, its sheer and i wasnt really press about the velux shadow set thingy!! (i did get that NARS lippie set in dolce vita doh)

I picked up the pink set. Just for embrace me but I'm really enjoying the lipglass and the eyeshadows aren't so shimmery that I won't wear them. Plus dark brown liner is my go to, so that was a plus too. I'd say that one is the best if you don't own Embrace Me.

yea i already have EM and ur right i would've grabbed that one if i didnt have it. mac seems to always do the typical coral, pink n nude lip sets EVERY year so i was like

the look in the boxes i knew i'd pass cuz im not a big fan of mac shadows plus im too OCD about having literally EVERYTHING in one palette i.e. lippies next to shadows n etc...im the person who doesn't like my food to touch

Opps, yeah they are not same but they are in the same color scope and I'll be using them interchangeably as a transition or crease color.

The lipglass is not opaque. Which makes me like it more. I like somewhat sheer glosses, its still bright pink but its not like you're hooping on product. Embrace is similar to a few things I own but I love bright blue based pinks. Here's a picture I just took. Starting from the RIGHT: Pink Poodle Pink Pidgeon Show Orchid Embrace Me

The finishes are different and compared to Pink Pidge I think Embrace Me has a bit more fushia undertones.
