here are swatches of summer opal - the first is with flash & the second is just in regular lighting. it's a bit more pigmented in real life but these pictures do show the kind of shimmer/sheen it gives (at least on me). all of my swatches are done with a mashed up powder version since mine arrived broken so i don't know if the pressed version would look the same or not.

the lipstick is perfect!! & really? that's interesting! my roommate has becca's rose gold (the holiday version) and i hated it on me but i'm wearing summer opal right now and it's pretty nice! but yay for saving money!If this is for the Mia collection and her ideas come from India I hope there's a lot of colorful liners and rich deep colorful eyeshadows. MAC could really do a winner with this collection and I think it would sell great! (But then, what doesn't sell well at MAC?
