Seems like I have seen a few people now talk about how the colors are much darker in person than they appear in swatches. To be honest, I don't mind. I'd rather them be darker than lighter if they have to be off but that's just my personal taste. Fortunately I will be able to swatch the ones I'm interested in in person in the next couple of weeks.

I keep looking at Vivien and Vera and thinking how beautiful they are. Then I remind myself how many colours I have that are similar. Berry/ plum tones are teh downfallz for me.

We have the same problem. I have to remember the price and really go through my stash for similarities in colors.

I love the shades that I have gotten so far: Audrey,Silvia,Dominique and vivien!! There are just 2 more shares I am hoping to pick up; jane & Anna!! I loooovee texture and formula in general!! But other than the six, I really don't see any more shades I like as much!! So yahoo it's 6 off 40 for me!!! ... For now :amused: Edit: although I am thinking swapping Silvia for Angela!! I prefer the lighter version better so....

I'm wondering if Brigitte or Vanessa would look similar one me to Mac's Brave. I just bought that today along w/ Whirl liner. I swear I snatch up all the LE Mac lipsticks when there's a few good permanent ones hanging around. I'm pretty sure Barbara is more tan than Brave which pulls surprisingly pinkish on me. I can order Barb as soon as it hits Sephora online, but I will wait to swatch the other 2 and Juliette. Kelly looks the same on me as it does on Temptalia, but Dominique is a little darker. Colors like Dominique do something different on me. Something good b/c I love it, but different. I wore Kelly for about 6 hours today and it was perfect. Didn't need to reapply at all. I used Mac's Cherry liner around the edges lightly and blended. It was gorgeous.

Lovin' these lippies!!! Silvia is BRIGHT and has a noticeable purple tone to it. It's a little darker IRL. Vivien is also darker IRL and a very complex color. At first glance it is a burgundy red, but looking closer I see there is a hint of plum to it. It is a very subtle yet sophisticated red that is perfect for work or any occasion, really. I feel very GROWN in this lippie, lol. Like I have my -ish together (and I do, ha). It comes across as soft, feminine, flirty and regal. I feel pretty

and powerful

in this.

These cover the lip in one swipe, literally, with no skipping or tugging. Crazy. It's easy to control as well. One layer feels light. Neither feels moisturizing to me, but not drying either. Not sure about the wear since I literally just threw these on to take pics. Hope these are helpful. So glad my first (unseen) picks were total scores! Can't wait to purchase some additional colors.

I wear Marisa today and seriously it's totally different from swatches. Swatches look like bright white pink, but NO WAY!
It's more like reddish pink and it reminds me of Mac Speed Dial without gold shimmer.

Yes, I'm going to keep it since I'm a sucker for pink, lavendar and magenta lipsticks.lol But it just looked too different from what I expected. Besides, Marisa isn't natural pink at all!
