MAC Brooke Shields Beauty Icon Collection (Oct 2, 2014)

this is my dilemma! i don't need another "neutrals" palette, but... the only mac shadows i own is a quad that is more greys than neutrals. but this is so pretty   i just gave my mom my stila in the light palette, so there's that but i've also got a big car repair bill coming up. aurgh!

I'm stuck between getting the rocky horror palette or the brooke palette. Mac shadows wise, I only own the all about beige palette. Other eyeshadow palette wise, I own ud naked 3, ysl couture # 5, 3 sonia kashuk quads,a covergirl trio, and a few maybelline quads.

I like and respect Brooke Shields but I think I am going to pass on this collection. I am not over the moon about any of the colors.

I'm trying to decide between the two or if I should get either of them .. I own 2 mac quads and 1 single eye shadow but I have the lorac pro the pro to go the lorac mint edition palette the unzipped and some holiday palettes that I forgot the name of .. I probably shouldn't get either considering all the palettes I have but I can't help myself so I don't know anymore

Oh I am a giant palette heaux and I have no business getting both of these. But I probably will

I like making my own palettes, I'd have to cross reference and make sure we were talking about mostly colors I don't have. What other makeup stuff is coming out soon I should know a about? My head is always buried in the Mac collections and I don't know what else is out there...

This collection has officially gone on the skip list with the Heirloom Holiday news. That will be big for me, and I really don't need two more palettes this fall. I'm pretty committed to Lorac Mega Pro, so bye bye Brooke Shields!

Will be interesting to see how outrageously expensive the palette will be over in europe, I would love it but it depends on the price I guess

Agree, she missed an opportunity by filtering that picture imo. Why can't people who get early access just back awayyyy from the IG filters….. grrrr. sorry kind of grumpy today.

I sometimes use filters to make colors look more accurate. Especially with iPhones, colors can turn a lot cooler than IRL, so using a filter might counter balance this issue. Not sure if this applies to other users, but at least that's the reason why I use filters. HTH.

I was skipping completely but just looked at my schedule and I am off on Oct 2nd. Can't let a perfect day-off go to waste so I think that I may get the coral lipgloss (if pigmented). Cannot touch another es palette for a while unless I grew a 3rd eye mid- forehead. I tend to only use one color on my eyes unless I have the time but its hard to get fancy at 0500am most days. Rarely am I able to re-apply, touch up and focus on myself as much as I would like during the daytime so I notice that things are lasting me longer than they really should. Something a rational "normal" person would be happy about is a frustration, lol
