NARS Audacious Lipstick

I swatched Liv and Bette tonight at Nordstrom. I can't wait to make these two a part of my collection. Is Ingrid one of the exclusive shades? I couldn't find it at Nordies.

So, Catherine was one of my "sure things" and I had it in my basket, but then it just occurred to me that I ordered Tom Ford Twist of Fate and they may be very similar. These are the best swatches I've found online.

Because of this collection, I really hope the holiday collection is crappy so that I can skip it and save some money.lol
Besides, Dual-intensity blushes will come out next spring (Maybe in March or April), so I'm already worried about my wallet. Nars always makes us hard regardless of their 20th anniversary.

Which one should I get first? I'm NW13

Oh and thank you @elegant-one @iLoveBees, @Ernie, @JBmummy, and all of you for the swatches, they really helped! But they still kind of make me just want EVERYTHING. But they at least helped me pick which I want FIRST

I finally tried on Audrey today and I love it. I'll take a picture once I'm feeling better. Audrey is a lovely mix between red, berry, brick, and rose. Indoors, it appears darker and more red. Outdoors, it looks lighter and a little more of a deep rose. It also felt great on my lips. I'm kind of wanting Jane next, but I'm not sure yet. I think I'd love the color, though. My husband (bless him) swatched it on his hand for me since I couldn't go to Sephora, and it looked great. I don't think I have anything like it. I think it would pair well with my beloved and discontinued Lure lip pencil, though.

I'm glad you love Audrey and was so sweet of your husband to get it for you. I have Jane and it leaned a bit orange on me. I love it though! I also have Anita which I love. I want to get Barbara and Viven next but I'm going to wait. I have too many new stuff that I need to enjoy.

They have to expand! :lol: Seriously, there's a lot of shades they have yet to touch. This formula can pretty much make anything work. It's just a matter of preference. Looking at swatches I see Juliette is a pretty nice coral. I overlooked it yesterday. Probably because I was focused on whether or not Brigitte would work. Silly me. I'll have to focus on that and now I'm thinking Lana instead of Geraldine. Maybe a reddish orange will be kinder to me than a straight up orange. Geraldine did swatch nicely, though. Decisions, decisions.

Geraldine is also the one (and Marlene too) I am interested. But I keep trying to resist them. Lol

I don't mind Jane leaning orange. I love orange! I have more bright oranges and I think what appeals to me about Jane is that it's a bit more muted than many of the oranges I have. There are so many great shades to try, though. It's overwhelming. I think I'm going enjoy Audrey for a while before getting anymore.

I LOVE Jane. If you love orange, get it. It was my first one of these lippies. Just wore it today and I loved it sooooo much. Yesterday I said Catherine was my fave of the shades I bought, but wearing Jane today may have changed my mind.

Kelly & Dominique. Kelly on camera, in the tube, is ridiculous. Insanely bright. Not quite that bright on the lips thankfully.

Oh I KNOW, these are NOT cheap lipsticks. It's bad enough with MAC, they always have LE collections that sell out in no time so I have no choice but to buy all the lipsticks at once. Then I only like half of them... But I'm so scared of missing out... I should really try to branch out to other brands, I'm pretty sure that's intentional with MAC, ensnare us with fear and then we have no money left for NARS. I already ordered Greta, I think I'm gna order Natalie and ONE of the nudes or mauves. Anna? Barbara? Raquel? One of them...But I can wait, I don't have to stay up all night refreshing the computer to see if they've sold out lol

I agree with you. Im trying to get into other brands but MAC comes out with so many collections i don't want to miss out on the lippies and I end up hating some of them

There's no way I'm paying over $30 for a lipstick. These are beautiful but I feel like the prices are high out of greed. If someone explains to me why these are $32 besides paying for a name (and I love NARS!) I might reconsider. Make the tubes smaller and charge less or I am personally never buying them.
