Ok I'm just excited and wanted to share...I had been on the fence about Negligee and whether it would look good on me but I ended up getting both Negligee and Twist of Fate and they arrived today. These are my first TF lipsticks. And you know what? I am AMAZED. I must gnaw a lot on my bottom lip because it's always a little rough even after exfoliating and moisturizing, so I have a hard time with lipsticks accentuating that roughness/lines. But this formula is thin enough that it literally looks and feels like a stain on my lips and does NOT accentuate my lower lip issues! The other problem I commonly get with creamy lipsticks is I get that "gunk line" inside the lip that becomes very visible with wear. Not with these lippies! Look ma! No gunk lines!
I also received Nars Raquel today which, by comparison, is a formula that is noticeably less ideal FOR ME (everybody's different and I know most people are loving the Audacious Lipstick formula). I got the gunk line immediately with Raquel
I think because the formula is a bit thicker. Haven't tried it with a primer yet - that might help.
$50 is so expensive, but I have to tell you I could not be more pleased. Highly recommended!
I also received Nars Raquel today which, by comparison, is a formula that is noticeably less ideal FOR ME (everybody's different and I know most people are loving the Audacious Lipstick formula). I got the gunk line immediately with Raquel

I really like the way Negligee looks on Temptalia (appears more orangey on the screen than plum) but I know that it won't look like that on me due to my naturally rosy lips. Can anyone recommend a color that might be close, maybe a MAC color? Thanks!

Thanks! I agree you really do have to see them in person to appreciate them. I couldn't believe how pigmented they were. Especially Twist of Fate. I didn't even do full on swipes - just dab dab dab and it gave me such a lovely stain that on me is coral (not orange). Anyway, let me stop gushing...

I found Negligee to be almost identical to Casablanca, Casablanca leaning a bit more purple. In my opinion Casablanca was more striking, and given the steep price tag of these lipsticks, I can't justify owning both. HTH anyone who owns Casablanca.

I agree and I was scared to get because lots of people describe Casablanca as mauve I can't do mauve lol but u are right Casablanca it is effortless I have negligee I posted a pic here

Hi ladies The swatches of lipsticks look fab I love the one begining with c I won't try n spell it I prob spell it wrongly lol I cannot wait to recieve the tom ford duo blush /highlighter mines not being delievered till the 11 th sept I waited about a week now maybe less It feels like a week lol Then my friend can send it to me in the uk along with my mac Simpsons stuff and mac a novel romance Anyhow I should of ordered it in the uk But I grudge paying more for things here too When I know postage won't be much as I have already items waiting to come to me so putting it into my box won't make postage go up by a lot Anyhow I haven't had any blush from tf and I have one lippy smitten that's it But I need a proper lippy from tf as that one was a lipshine I need a proper tom ford lippy any suggestions ? I was thinking of buying either negligee or the other one cannot rember it's name now . The one beginning with C is that still avaible ? It's really pretty x Thanks for any help ladies

Sure, I'll have to try the photos again tomorrow in daylight. It's nighttime here and these energy saver bulbs are a far cry from studio lighting ;-)

Ok, here are my best energy saver lighting shots ;-) Negligee is pretty true. Twist of Fate was harder to capture but these are pretty accurate for indoor lighting.
