The Superstars set is kind of disappointing tbh. I just googled last year's and it looks so much better

They start releasing stuff in October but you don't always have to wait for the VIB sale unless you're trying to purchase to top up your VIB status for the next year. Between October and November a lot of the brands have their friends and family sales which range between 20-30% so it may be a good idea to sign up for the newsletter of a brand you're interested in as you may be able to get what you wanted discounted on their own website before Sephora has their VIB sale. Most of the holiday stuff doesn't fully sell out 'til the VIB sale. A lot of people wait for the sale to get the discount.

Thanks! Sadly a few companies don't ship to Canada and with the ones that do I'm afraid of duties and what not. Maybe I'll just wait until the VIB sale, it's near the beginning to mid November anyway right?

Ahh, I know that feeling. I'm international too so it's always a pain. It's been beginning to mid-November for the last 2 or 3 years so I'm guessing it will be around that time again. Hopefully the bulk of the Holiday stuff won't come out until closer to the end of October so there won't be too much weeks between that and the sale.

They really should make it easier for us outside the states =( but im hopeing it is mid to late October so the stuff i want doesnt fly off the shelf. Some things do sell out or go out of stock due to the Sephora Employee Friends & Family Sale which happens right before the VIB sale. Annoying.Ahh, I know that feeling.
