I've been MIA for quite sometime and my swatches are a little late, I have MAC Kinky from the Kinky Boots Collection & Strange Journey from The RHPS Collection. They maybe a little pointless now due to MACina's swatches but hopefully they will offer some different comparisons. I did not compare all of my red and orange lipsticks as there are just too many and some are not comparable to the two. I swatched Kinky & SJ together so you could see their differences and then the most similar lipsticks I own next to them. (Pictures Below)

Strange Journey Review
MAC describe SJ as a "Yellowish brick red (Matte)". It is a Red Orange with Yellow & Brown undertones. SJ applied like a dream, it's matte formula is so smooth and opaque, it never tugged on my lips and provided easily a full 8 hour wear without reapplying or drying out my lips. My only slight gripe was that it's formula is so creamy for a matte, almost mousse like it is slightly transferable and moveable when first applied but give it 20 minutes and it was on for the rest of the day fully matte and non moving. When it did fade its stain it left was beautiful, with my pigmented lips the colour was a soft coral and was easily removed with a makeup wipe. The colour is not for the faint of heart; it is very vibrant, eye-catching and the yellow tone shows strong in natural light, when I went grocery shopping I had a lot of looks while wearing it. It's a very fun colour and is rather unique in my collection.
Strange Journey Comparison
So Chaud - It has a silver micro glitter visible in sunlight whilst SJ has none, SC looks more vibrant and has less yellow/brown undertone as it is more orange.
Dangerous - It's a lighter colour with no brown or yellow tones, more red than SJ.
Lady Danger - Much brighter than SJ. More vibrant, almost neon, they have a similar formula but LD looks more coral.
Hibiscus - The most unlike SJ. It's Cremesheen formula is not opaque, it has a silver micro shimmer & looks more peach than yellow undertoned.
Scarlet Ibis - SI is more similar to Lady Danger than Strange Journey. SI has more yellow tone in it than red.
No lipstick in my collection has the a undertone that matches what Strange Journey has especially when applied to the lip to be a dupe. I'd recommend this lipstick if you like your reds with a lot of warm undertones & like a vibrant lipstick. I am in love with it just for it's formula & if the rest of the RHPS Lipsticks are like this I'm on #teambuyallthelippies

These and MACina's swatches have convinced me that I can skip Strange Journey. I already have SI and SLV and don't wear those often. I already have Sin in regular packaging, so that's a skip, too. Leaning toward skipping the rest of the lippies, too. I had hoped FnF would be deeper and more vampy but I still want to see more swatches to be sure.
