. And I go my first NARS blush this summer, too.

Speaking of Malice, I missed out on Malice the NP. I asked for it locally but I was too late.

I'm not a huge fan of red NP but Malice looks really nice.

Just swatched holiday at Blue Mercury in center city Philadelphia. I have to admit I didn't like the look on the model. The bright red lip looked really harsh against her fair skin. When I swatched it, I found the highlighter to be really golden on my olive skin. I usually wear a B30 in chanel foundations. The cream shadow is a pinky gold with an emphasis on pink. The eye shadow palette is pigmented and it's in shades of purple and gray. There is also a sheer pinky peach lipstick and the blush is a perfect match. Thr blush is absolutely stunning!,

Thanks for the info! My main question is how sparkly some of these items are on the skin. In the limited swatches available, I see noticeable shimmer in both the highlighter and the blush. I just wonder if it's really obvious on the face? I personally prefer a sheen to sparkle (even if it is holiday). But the colors seem amazing. Also could you tell whether the illusion d'ombre was overly glittery?

Sorry for the interrogation LOL.

The highlighter isn't so much a sparkle as a sheen. How it looks on the skin probably depends on the brush. If you use a dense brush, the sheen is much more pronounced. The blush was sparkly but not in an obnoxious way. The blush is my favorite piece of the whole collection

Good to hear. I do love the color of that blush. I'm a sucker for anything peach. I'm hoping a swatch of the lighter lipstick pops up soon too because that sounds promising as well. Thanks again!

That is disappointing! The Flamboyante l/s I own from 2011 is the most lovely soft red - almost strawberry. Here it is on Cafe Makeup:

I guess they have changed it :(

I don't think that Chanel changed it. The Cafe Makeup post you linked to is from 2011 - so it's not a new swatch of it. And a lot of time, the colors look different on different skin tones and in different lighting. Colors can also look different depending on how the bloggers take the picture (set the white balance, what they do to correct the pictures, etc) - trust me, it takes A LOT of work to get accurate color, or learn how to anyway. I've always found Amy's (Cafe Makeup) pictures quite accurate, along with Karen at MBB.

I think the new shade might be a reformulation because it's listed as La Flamboyante, a Rouge Allure Velvet. So the texture might be a bit different and shades can look so different on people. There were pics on imabeautygeek.com and a swatch on nuniebeautie.wordpress.com. We should see more pics soon, as the date creeps closer :)

Sorry, I meant that the 2011 version which I own was so lovely (as evidenced by the Cafe Makeup post) that it will be a pity if this version is different as someone mentioned earlier in the thread. I didn't realise it's going to be a RAV, so it very well might be different.

Who knows if these estimates are accurate but I noticed the wait time on this collection at Bloomies decreased by a week overnight. Yesterday they were 23 days backordered, today they're 15. So fingers crossed they'll be here sooner than expected!

Still haven't found any swatches of the illusion d'ombre though - I don't really want to buy that sight unseen in case it's a glitter bomb. Hopefully some rogue swatches will pop up on instagram or something ;-)

Exciting! Can't wait to be inundated with swatches. The good thing about having to wait longer (UK) means that by the time it comes out here I've already read tonnes of reviews/seen swatches and know exactly what I want/don't want.

Neiman Marcus store at the Galleria Mall just called to inform me that they have received the holiday collection. Will go and "look" tomorrow! Changing my number next year, lol.
