I don't mind Carbon being crap because i wouldn't have used a black shadow even if it had been divine. I'd have been happier without a black at all, but I'm happy enough with the rest of the palette for one shade to not be a showstopper.
Allura has very heavy swatches; I would never apply shadow this way so I tend to base my decisions more on Christine and Karen's swatches. I don't mind pigmentation that Christine finds a bit lacking because I sheer out darker colours anyway; her colouring is closest to mine so I generally can kinda tell how shades might look on me.
I have Sumptuous Olive and I don't think it's a dupe for Psyche (unless the swatches are off, I think SO might be a little more yellow). No way is Expensive Pink a dupe for Artistic License (I have both). I have Deep Fixation too, but I'm sure I'll enjoy Antiqued. Honestly, I can see how most of us can dupe just about any shade out there at this point so there's no right answer. This is a good palette for those of us who like these wearable satin/veluxe pearl type finishes. I freaking adore Pepper - it looks glorious. Pretty, Cantor and Luscious will be great everyday shades too.
Can't wait to get mine on Monday!
