The pigment really disappointed me in T's swatches. Not burgundy or sparkly! Was really hoping for an additional swatch of CI before launch... but I think I will just grab that, SJ and Oblivion. I know FnF would just sit in my lipstick holder.

Yeah I'm kind of hugely disappointed with this collection. I am not the world biggest fan of Rocky Horror but I want at least FnF because will it's Tim Curry's character and I like Tim Curry lol even though I don't need another red haha

Yep, I've also seen them on her page but with T it's sometimes difficult bec her swatches tend to look similar although the lippies look nothing alike irl... that's why I checked pictures of other people as well.
The colour is amazeballs!

All the lippies, both nail polish, and blush. Pigments are beautiful but I know I would never use them. Are you getting anything?

I agree though, no point in buying something you will never use.

Exactly! Every single time the color story looks so cool and then like when the swatches pop up
Frankly The lipsticks reflect the Marilyn theme to me FnF instead of Charmed I ' sure, Strange Journey instead of scarlet Ibis, sin in the place of Deeply adored and Oblivion instead of Love Goddess. All that is missing is a nude now!! Gah

What glitter adhesive do you ladies use?

I use Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy! Cheap and amazing.  You need the littlest amount, so it lasts forever. It works for glitter, loose pigments, and even pressed shadows that need extra oomph.  Don't be turned away by the turn around time on their front page. This is just a precaution. I've used them over 15 times in the past three or so years and it has never exceeded 4 days.

I wonder how the Pixie Epoxy compares to TFGG. Have you used the latter? I have a glitter adhesive from ShopVioletVoss that I really like, but I'm always on the lookout for something outstanding.

Here is a liittle food for thought: I used to buy things simply because it was highly coveted/hard to get/collectible. I would initally be tiickled pink when I would have it my makeup stash. Then as time went along and I would see it sitting just sitting there without hardly or any use, due to the fact that I didn't want to mess it up/keep it pristine/something I just didn't reach for hardly or ever, it really made me stop and think why would I throw my money onto things I really didn't need. Makeuup is expensive enough as it is, just to buy the things we need on a daily basis. I'm not pushing that envelope any longer. Sitting somewhere in a drawer to admire, is no longer in my gameplan.

I'm on the same page with you. I went through a short period of wanting things just because they're rare or LE, but now realize I could have saved a ton of money if I had skipped them.

There are still a few times where autopilot kicks in and I cave, but I have been so much better. Most MAC collections, with the exception of Alluring Aquatic, I've kept my hays to an average of 2-4 things. I also notice when I can see swatches beforehand, or the product is around long enough for me to swatch myself, I'm less likely to buy. Overall, I've don't indulge my skipper's remorse as often.

I don't get it either. Like someone said a whe back, "stop trying to make Carbon happen." Why does it have to be in EVERY DAMN PALETTE that MAC puts out???!!!

It really is unfortunate how non- unique these colors really are. I will be getting FnF only and hope it is darker and richer than T's swatch. All you can do is hope for the best. In the meantime, since MAC insists on a new collection every other month then they need to return to the drawing room and start getting more creative.
