I guess because she reviews so much now and daylight is restrictive. I can't get artificial lighting right for swatches, only product photos, so I use daylight for makeup swatches and it puts me so behind!

I'm tempted by the packaging but yeah, there are so many gorgeous indie options out there!I am personally skipping, because I feel it looks pretty dupable. At least based on Temptalia's swatches (yeah yeah). I also am an indie makeup addict and know I can find something similar.

colourpop.com has some great highly pigmented shadows for 5 each. Tons of colours, I am sure they have a burgundy shade.
They actually have a color called Hustle and its a burgundy with violet tones to it.

Do you like plum blushes? This one has a bit of pink to it. It is a sheertone shimmer, so it'll be sheerer than a normal blush. You won't have to worry about it looking harsh.

I really do like plum blushes, have been lusting after Dirty Plum from L of L collex forever! I think I would rather have buyer's remorse than skipper's remorse though, and knowing me when it arrives I will fall in love with it.
