Still not sure if I should get anything from this collection...not a fan of the packaging

I hate the packaging as well .. looks kinda cheap and not very creative!
Also disappointed that they put soo many permanent colors in there .. so it's just something for starters.

'palette is a priced right and if you don't have those colors then you can't beat it.

The price is great. But I have 5 of the permanent, and Carbon I don't want. I really only want 2-3 of the shadows, and then the price isn't so good anymore. I just have to hope MAC repromotes the one I want as singles sometime.

yeah, you're right. I don't have Carbon and I'm mad MAC keep adding it to almost all their palettes lol.

I BTM empty shadows all the time without the metal pan, both at MAC and the Bay. I've never had anyone comment; they barely glance at them, just count.

just ordered the palette and forgot to use ebates. I have to start using chrome instead of internet explorer

this is why I always use chrome.. that ebates button is a lovely reminder..

Interesting! I don't undertstand why MAC can't get the shade right, especially since it's a perm one, not one that has been discontinued for a long time and is now being repromoted. The perm one looks way better IMO.
Now trying to catch up with the RHPS thread.

MAC takes mine...I've done it at several in NYC and also in DC. The only thing I've ever been told is in DC they require part of the bottom label to be on, so they can tell that you're not B2Ming a free eyeshadow that you got via B2M. They put a little mark on the bottom of all their B2M freebies they give out. Every since then when I depot, I only cut the name off of the bottom label and leave the rest. Not sure why the MAC at Pentagon City cares so much. The point of the program is to encourage recycling to protect the environment, not to monitor/reward purchased items.

I've got so many right now from my depotting spree. I think I've turned in five and have nine left.

I have to admit I feel bad going in just to get my free lipsticks so I've been buying something else every time.

I B2M'd the other day and the guy didn't even look in the little bag I had my empties in and just handed me over my lippy. I could of had rocks in that bag. lol

That's what I'm thinking too. Although my first ST is not 'normal' either - it's in one of those holiday or trip palettes (can't remember now).

Otherwise, I think the palette is going to be great! So many pretty combos.
