Luckily they only charged $8 (which he got back) and the bank doesn't think they got any other info, so it's just an inconvenience.  Annoying, but at least it wasn't worse.  

just and believe I know how frustrating it could be both mom and i dealt with ppl charging our cards last year. It was a rough year....
