I'm talking to MAC and trying to get more information about the greasepaint sticks. This misinformation about whether they are or are not waterline safe is insane! It seems to have everyone confused! That's REALLY not good for a company to be confused about something like this...
i'm not sure if they're approved for waterline use, but I did use the ones from the dsquared2 collection on my waterline and had no issues. I have somewhat sensitive eyes. they wore ok as a liner but I tried them as a base and was really unhappy with the results, and they smell weird. maybe mac has changed the formula with the rhps, though. I ended up smashing up the ones I had, mixed them with gesso and turned them into paint! expensive paint lol

Maybe the delay is because they just saw how big the hype is and they decided to make more items? Just trying to keep the spirits up here.
Either that or somebody left an entire case of FrankNFurter lipsticks in a hot truck and they are now just a pile of FnF goo somewhere.

Neopets went down and it was the only thing occupying me while I wait for MAC to stop treating me like a dog.

Yes, I still play Neopets. Judge me!

Well, I've managed to get a bunch of people at MAC into a tizzy over the Greasepaint sticks, and still no answer.  They all seem extremely concerned about the conflicting info, and they don't know the answer.  They are going to contact me...
You have got to be kidding !?! No one in the customer service department has ever bothered to confirm whether or not a product can actually harm a customer? I should be surprised but I'm not. Just add this to the list. It again confirms that their management team is not concerned about the consumer. Don't get me wrong. Their products are great but being concerned about the customer who uses the product is what keeps the company going. Love their products but this launch plus this situation is really pushing me away as a consumer.

I hate how my stomach drops every time the page takes a few extra seconds to reload and I think the launch started. I feel like I'm waiting for the hunger games to start

If it turns out that they have advertised this on their site as being waterline-safe when it actually isn't, then they might push me away. This isn't the kind of mistake I can deal with. I can tolerate collections getting pushed back and all that stuff, but not something like this.
