MAC x Rocky Horror Picture Show Collection (Oct 2, 2014)

I have really been sleeping on this collection (for good reason-lots of family and personal issues so i've not been online much). BUT I saw swatches today so I need to resurface lol

What time do you all think the collection will be on dept store websites tomorrow? I'm praying I can get the collection for my sister and I.

Umm is anyone else confused as to why Crazed Imangination is a Frost and not a Sheertone Shimmer, which is what Mac states it is on its website?  I'm not complaining I'm just a little confused.

I wondered about that too, and even double checked the site to see what it said it was. Maybe it's just a labeling error? I only have two other Mac blushes (the Marilyn ones) so I can't compare it to a "real" frost, but mine doesn't seem very frosty....it's pretty sheer and nicely buildable (which is my preference in a darker blush) and it has a subtle sheen to it that looks slightly pink/plum, depending on how I move my hand, and doesn't look shimmery on my face. It's just a touch above a natural sheen (if that makes sense). Unfortunately I don't know what a MAC frost is supposed to look like, but Sheertone Shimmer seems like a really appropriate description to me. I'll try to take some good pics, or a few second video to capture the finish of it, once I drop my niece off. No make up is safe around a 4 year old. Haha

No department stores. This collection is only available at standalone Mac stores or Mac online.

In the confusion and and frenzy yesterday, my husband accidentally ordered the blue greasepaint stick instead of the black one. That's okay, though, I was curious about the blue one, too. I think I'll go ahead and order the black one as well. If I have any issues with it on my waterline (whether it is supposed to go there or not), hopefully it will still make a wonderful cream shadow or base. The color of the blue one... it's just beautiful, so I'm kind of glad he ordered the wrong one!
