I like Jeffree Star because my homophobic relatives actually really love him. Like my uncle will scream obscenities at my little cousins if he catches them with their hair longer than an inch or nail polish on one of their nails, but my aunt follows everything Jeffree Star does because he's like her makeup idol (she doesn't speak english, so she's just following make up looks and tutorials, idk about any drama). So while my effed up uncle is doing everything he can to turn my cousins into bad people and emotionally damage them for life, his wife is sort of balancing it out by exposing them consistently to her favorite drag queen. So I don't actually know much about him... but drag queens are essential to the healthy development of my family, so I don't want to not like him!
