okay here's the palette (they didn't need me at work i guess...) Oh and this is sad, here's my convo with my hubby:
Me: (holding up palette) honey this sold out in like ten minutes.
Hubby: I'm sorry...
Me: No I got it, it's okay
Hubby: Oh... that's good. (stares blankly)
Me: It sold out in like ten minutes but I got it in like 2 minutes and I'm like haHA I got it bitches!
Hubby: (awkwardly leaves room)

So it's pretty nice, not AMAZING, but I'll def use it, I'm gna wear the first three together for sure. Sorry it's almost impossible to see the highlight colors on my skin...

Yeah I asked my counter too and they keep getting later and later notification about collections and/or plans change last minute. Really disappointing.

I really wish the palette would have had more of a wow factor. I picked it up at the store launch and it's just meh. Might just give it to my momma.

So glad I didn't buy it .. I know I would have regret it I was going back and forth between getting it or not and maybe if I didn't have any palettes or a couple i would get it but even at is price I don't think it would be worth it for me

The best thing in this collection is the bronzer! I <3 it so much. It's the perfect winter bronzer for fair skin - barely there, but makes an impact. The very best type of subtle makeup magic. Might be too subtle on medium and darker skin tones, but for fair skin, it's totally amazing. BIG surprise winner of the collection for me.

I think it's a palette that is great for more mature eyes. It's exactly what I like - neutral with a kick of wearable (office friendly colour). No glitter, no BAM shades, etc. I could totally see this palette being too bland for those who are more drawn to the UD Vice 3 jewel shades or Sugarpill matte neons, but now that I'm in my late 40s it's absolutely perfect for me.

this palette will be perfect for me because i can't wear all those bright beatiful colors to work. i can only wear neutral colors to work.

I know. Me either. However, I will Wear Heroine with Asian Flowers on top to make it a bit lighter on occasion.
