My information came from Caroline Hirons. She knows her stuff and isn't beholden to any particular brand or product.
Well I can only claim what I was told by educational part of Clarisonic company. I suppose they know their stuff the best. And I was not told that as a customer but as someone who is selling their product.

Has anyone been able to get the 10% off coupon with the mix/match game they are offering? I keep getting damn samples.. I just want 10% off

I finally got the 10% off today and with ebates(8%), I just HAD to place a small order. I tried the Perricone MD no foundation foundation serum sample and fell head over heels in love with it. It is pricey but totally worth it.

I was taught by my regional beauty educuator, that it microexfoliates the skin. It pulsates and the vibrations make the dead skin cells come out of the pores. We did a demo with a tissue to show the micro exfoliation. I wasn't shown this as a client either, I was taught this to sell it that way....

We were also shown demo with a tissue to show how gentle it is because it does not even show any sings of damage on the tissue - is that the one you are referring ?

I specifically asked question about exfoliation. I was told it does not exfoliate and that everyone should continue with their regular exfoliation routine - mechanical or chemical but never to use mechanical exfoliant with the clarisonic

@Monsy you definitely sound like you're well educated about the product. I'm still hesitant on it though. There's no way I could use it daily, my skin would freak out and be red all the time, even if I used the softest brush. Guess I have more thinking to do!!

I do not believe that it HAS TO BE used every day. Everyone's skin is different and we should "listen" to our skin. I do not use it every day. On a day when I am off and I do not wear makeup I probably would not use it. On days when I wear heavy makeup 10+ hours in the evening I can not wait to use it to get all that off and be left with super clean skin that can finally breathe

I used regular, sensitive and deep pore brush heads. Sensitive is my favorite. Regular is rough really rough.

Hey ladies, just heard that Sephora F&F sale starts 10/16. Not sure if that is correct, but thought I'd mention it

If you feel clarisonic is too much for you , you are probably either using the wrong brush, wrong speed or you are pressing to hard against the skin.

Hi guys,

My name is Ko, and i have a beauty addiction! I love sephora! I never really use foundations but i was wondering if ya'll could help me with something. I recently just got into bare minerals matte foundation BUT i hate the brushes from BM. Are there any that you guys suggest that i could use other than the BM brushes that would work with this well? I was thinking of buying the optical blurring brush from UD. HELP :)

xoxo

Yea the tissue doesn't break, but it had micro beads on top, so the clarisonic had "micro exfoliated" the tissue.
O-o Sounds like we are getting conflicting answers lol.. I mean honestly I clean my face with the clarisonic and exfoliate with products from algenist... but I think it's weird that we both got different trainings haha..

I am sure it depends on the educator

and welcome Ko!! I have no experience w/BM loose powders and defer to the more knowledgeable folks here.....but as a self proclaimed beauty addict, you're in the right place.

I'm using the delicate brush ( i think its the delicate brush the one with the blue band) with the Mia1. Maybe I am pressing too hard. I'll try a lighter hand. I still like it when I use it. Just can't use it twice a day everyday.

yes that is the delicate brush but Mia one is not a good option for you since your skin is so sensitive and Mia has only one regular speed that's not recommended for sensitive skin. For you would be either mia 2 or mia 3 since they have slower speed

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to look into a new machine. I've been eyeballing that cheetah print one for a while now. lol
