Darker balls---oh lord I don't know why I'm laughing so hard I can hardly type---it just came over me.
What does 04 look like? I have 01 & its so lovely.
Trying to compose myself here---let me wipe my eyes---ugh, need a tissue for my nose. Awwww that's better
too dark but I really like it. It really creates a pretty finish. For me it wears better in the summer when I have more color. There are several brown balls, some beige, deep
pink & lavender---just a very interesting variety of balls.

I know what you mean. I actually am most drawn to the eyeshadows even though all of it is probably dupable. I'm on the fence!Wasn't even considering the palette until seeing this swatches. Her complexion is pretty much the same as mine, and it all looks beautiful! Damn! Now I want it...

Exactly! I have enough neutral eyeshadows that I could live without it...... but..... they all look so lovely! And the blushes too! I'll have to see how I like the meteorites when they come in the mail tomorrow. I also ordered a couple of holiday gift sets for friends and a kiss kiss lipstick. It's hard for me to drop $90 on a palette before Dior's holiday collection hits counters. I'm really intrigued by the lipstick duos in that collection. But, I'm definitely on the fence, too! If nothing from the Dior collection comes home with me, I'll probably splurge on the palette.

It's the price point that's holding me back. You're right - there are 3 items I know I want from Dior Holiday, plus Tom Ford Holiday is also coming soon, so I'm just so torn. I even like the eyeshadow duo in 10 Cygne Noir though I'm worried it may be a little too dark on me. Gahhh!!Exactly! I feel like it's safe to wait for a bit on the palette. Since it's on Sephora and has such a high price point, I think it'll stick around for a while. I spoke to a SA at the Dior counter at my mall last week and she thinks the collection will be there this Thursday! Which is a little earlier than the 15th (I think I saw that as the official release). I'm inclined to believe her, though, since my Dillards oddly got the Chanel Collection pretty quickly/early too. I will definitely be back with what I bought and swatches. Has there been information about Tom Ford's holiday collection?! I don't think I've seen it yet, and I'm interested to know
Also, please do share what you end up purchasing, too!

They're already available at the Chicago boutique by phone/email. Info is in the thread. I know I *need* the cream shadows and about 4 of the lippies LOL so I need to be very selective about all my other purchases.
And I will definitely share my goodies once I pull the trigger!

Oooooooooooh those are lovely. I've never purchased an item from TF, but I have always been tempted. This holiday season might be the time I actually do! I'll need to see more swatches and such, as being in a crappy college town, we don't really have high-end counters. The best department store we have in a 100 mile radius is Dillards, and their only counters there are Chanel, Dior, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, and EL. So I frequently have to order online/phone or pray it's still around when I go home to south florida with my lovely NM and Nordies. I honestly have no idea where to start with TF though.
ANYWAY! I am most excited about Dior's new lip duos, hopefully I don't walk away with all of them though, hehe. But, if they perform well, I just might!

Yep, I have to rely on swatches too. I'm about 1 hour and 15 minutes away from "civilization" (aka Barneys, Nordstrom, Neimans, etc.) right now unfortunately so I tend to do a lot of research online before I buy. I haven't bought anything yet from the Guerlain holiday collection. I actually was going to buy the meteorites from the perm line (which would be my first meteorite perles) and then I saw the promos for the holiday collection so I held off wondering if maybe I should get the holiday ones instead. As for Tom Ford, I don't have a lot. This fall collection I got into it and got several pieces and I've been so impressed by everything I've gotten. If I splurge on a luxury item and it meets/exceeds my expectations, then I feel like I can justify the cost. All the TF lipsticks, nail polishes and cheek duos live up to it as far as I'm concerned. So, that's why I'm feeling hyped about the holiday collection.
I would think the lipsticks or blushes are a great place to jump in. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them!

It looks really pretty though, so if it's online only I might just have to give it a shot, sight unseen. I'm also interested in Daring, Ardent, and Passion shock. Sadly the gold highlighter looks waaaaaaaaaay too yellow for me, so that's a pass. (Although somewhat luckily. Perhaps I'll use that money on TF or the Guerlain palette!) and I really want a nail polish... almost just for the sake of the packaging. It's super pretty! My school colors are garnet and gold, so at least they would get a lot of use hehe.

When the boyfriend notices and comments, that is the true test of a good product! I know I'll get the meteorites...just may wait a tad longer before deciding which one. I'm sure regardless of which one I pick it will have a great effect.I've heard great things about TF blushes, so I think I might hold out for one of those if the Dior collection doesn't impress in person. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about a TF blush, so whenever you decide to dip your foot in the TF line, I think it's a great entry point
I'm going to keep my eye out for Enchanting Shock but if it doesn't turn up in the US I probably will try one of the others. Ardent Shock was the other one that really appealed to me. I agree the gold highlighter was a pass. And I got a few of the diorific vernis last year so I'm not jumping on them this year because they don't look different enough to tempt me, but if you don't have any you definitely need at least one just for the bottle. She's a beaute!
