Guerlain Holiday 2014- A Night at the Opera

I have read on multiple places that it is scratchy :/
I wouldn't describe my bronzing brush as scratchy at all. It's by no means soft as compared to my other brushes
but it's not scratchy.

I don't have the Météorites brush but I have the brush that matches the Terracotta Bronze compacts---it 's the
size & shape of the Météorites brush but the bristles are red and the handle is brown.
I'm pretty ambivalent about the brush and as such I won't purchase the Météorites brush.

Don't most Guerlain items get a favourable review from T?

Several items do, but a lot of the products live up to her ratings, even the poorly rated ones. The quality of Guerlain products are phenomenal overall. I don't have brand loyalty, but everything I've tried from them has not disappointed me, even if I dislike the colours.

Yes, I'm surprised it isn't talked about at all. It's an Asia and France boutique exclusive. It's part of their blanc de perle line that we don't get here, so you can imagine it's all about the glow. I'll try to take some pictures when I get home, but my balls are all white in tone with just barely a whisper of pink, blue, and white gold.. I wouldn't even consider them pastel shades, just shades of white and opal, I guess. I have tried several of the balls, and I have to say the 00 balls are quite different from the other ones. It leaves a pearly white sheen that can get too intense if I'm not careful, but I definitely notice that angelic glow.

Here are a few online reviews. I'd say mine show a bit more color variation, as I can see the slight blue balls, but you get the idea.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I call them my snow balls because they look like glistening snow. My husband gets a kick every time I talk about Meteorites because we just refer to them as the balls.

Checked UPS for the status of my delivery-- it's been delayed due to severe weather conditions. It's in a city about an hour and a half away from me, and it won't be delivered until tomorrow now!! My luck isn't faring too well for me right now. Hope I don't wait all this time for crushed balls...

Me too---first I got an out for delivery notice and then a follow-up message saying there was an issue with a UPS truck, I interpret all of that to mean----you have two
packages coming tomorrow and it just makes sense to save this one for tomorrow too!!! I get that but don't make ish up!!!
So, I'm not bawling about it but my BALLS had better arrive tomorrow! I had hoped to wear them today but I'll just reach for my brown balls (Dore 04) and call it a day!
