sometimes when I travel out to East or West TX and some of the North areas I'm just shocked at how conservative lots of them are out there. Even San Antonio is pretty conservative compared to Austin or Houston.
I just try to stay off of the borders lol! Those little middle of nowhere small towns out on the edges of the state are the WORST!

"Set the scene with this smoking-hot collection of red, red and more red! Eye Shadows flit the gamut from soft pink to true, fiery red, while Lipsticks and Cremesheen Glass run rampant up the scale from yellow-tinged tomato to soft orange and unabashed raspberry. Casual Colour brings complementary warmth to lips and cheeks in hues from coral to soft rose, while Nail Lacquer completes this look in bright pink, creamy orange-red or bright ruby frost with sparkles. Don’t hold back – when you go red, go red!"

I could have kicked myself and jumped off a roof for only getting one TT during VV collection. Especially after I put it on and realized it was NOT a scary color
Yep! I have TT in the Venomous Villains packaging and for sure owning three more of them would not hurt lol!! I haven't bought any eyeshadows in a very long time so this would make up for it.

I just hope there isn't any colour variation to this year's Toxic Tale :s There was variation when Ever Hip and Lavender Whip were repromoted.

If you're wearing red lipstick to work you're probably going to be looked at as a whore... or if you're just female in general lmao.

That is so odd.

I grew up in the 1950s and 60s and shades of red were the primary lipstick colors women wore, maybe neutral pink or pinky peach or coral, especially on younger women (i'm not counting models and movie stars - they were not ordinary women). If you wore some other color (if you could find some other color), then there would be questions about you - nudes and frosts were for movie stars and swinging young things.

Even in the 70s, "normal" adult women wore red lipstick - although coral was also ok on the cosmetically conservative.

Yeah, I mean, I didn't grow up during these times as I was born in 1980, but I have seen so many pictures of women wearing red lipstick during those years, including family members. I love red lipstick and I've always felt classic in it, never whorish, and I'm from South Carolina. I have lived in Kentucky now for a few years and I still don't feel weird wearing red even though my coworkers tend to not wear much makeup. I hate to think of more conservative places out there and how restrictive that must feel!

My grandma and mom every woman I know has worn red lipstick. It is a very classy color. The issue with red is the fact it symbolizes sex and passion. In my life only the conservative people view the color as "whoreish". I'm an odd ball, I really don't see any sort of makeup as whoreish...I've always viewed it as a creative expression of who you are as a person...you know bringing some color and beauty to ones life
