Well said. I actually re-signed up after forgetting a very old login to GIVE OUT my codes to people. I don't have the time to make hundreds of posts, even though I would love to!not everyone can stack up 1000 posts or even 100 posts.. people log in when they have time and contribute when they can. Its not right to generalize all new members. I agree, SOME people might just be here for the codes or sales, but honestly you can find that stuff anywhere. But to someone who might be thinking of joining this community to contribute their thoughts or ideas might not want to after reading these things.. because no one wants to be targeted even if they have clear intentions just because they have less than 5 posts, or even no picture or information. Generalizing everyone just deters people thats all.
If you feel there is a problem, then just PM the codes.
Just saying.

Not necessarily - Last year girls were giving out codes to strangers on other forums, and I was a grateful recipient of one! I was just wondering if anyone knew if the rules had changed at all this year!

I know right? It's sooo frustrating know how much cheaper it could be for us! I wish I had a friend or family member who worked there to get early access to the sale though. It would be nice to get a head start on my Christmas shopping!

Wouldn't it be grand if it was atleast equivalent to the exchange rate! I had my first American Sephora shopping experience in South Beach this year and I was in Heaven with all the prices!! haha also, 5% sales tax compared to 13% here - Oh to dream! lol

I know! I live right across the border from Michigan so every time I go over for any reason I always make sure to stop at a Sephora for a couple of things. They have 6% tax. Most of the time with their prices, even with the tax and exchange rate it's still cheaper than Canadian prices BEFORE tax. It's pretty annoying how big a price difference some things are.

I am SO LOVING the Algenist line! I got the Multi-Perfecting Pore Corrector Concentrate & the Genius Melting Cleanser. I swear these 2 products have made my skin look flawless & glowy without any makeup! I had been using samples which I was so impressed with that I just bought the full sizes. It completely clears out/cleans the skin while removing all traces of makeup. The concentrate made my skin look & feel like glass.
I also bought the new Dior Hydra Life Close-Up pore reducing Pro Youth Moisturizer ( whew, they should make a longer title lol) One of the lightest skin enhancing moisturizers I have ever used. It also makes the skin look flawless, hydrated & glowy.
Also, I have been using prior to trying the Algenist line the Boscia black Detoxifying Cleanser. Its great. Medgal has been using the kit & loves it as well.
During the sale I will probably try more of the Algenist products. I'm trying the Eye Balm right now & loving it too, so I'll probably pick that up.
My new makeup love is the Nudestix line. I already bought quite a bit & I LOVE every single thing I bought. Fast, easy, enhancing natural looking makeup. I've posted a few pics of the products in the Nudestix thread.
MissTT, I checked out the Shisheido Mask, I'm going to leave those alone b/c I use a prescription retin-a product.
Has anyone checked out that Anastasia Palette?

Ok, I just looked at the GlamGlow products, I can't use any of them. They either have AHA/BHA or Glycerin. My face hates glyercin, I can't even wear it in my hair.

Poooooop! I had them in my cart and was going to buy them tomorrow. My store doesn't have them. Maybe they're pulling that trick where nice items are mysteriously 'sold out' right before the sale only to be restocked in the week after. Seems to happen every year.

Yeah I'm more on the yellow side anyway so I will try Tahoe first. Much easier to warm up or color correct with bronzer etc than trying to fix a darker powder to begin with! Darker forehead probs lol.

Canadian prices get me so choked. On top of it every province has a RIDICULOUS tax % on top. Vancouver is expensive. Thank god for a P.O box in bellingham that i just recently got. I get all my big purchases shipped there. Saves some major cash flow .. Thank god my rotations are going to be in states so i will probably stock up on all things sephora!
