NARS Audacious Lipstick

All these pretty swatches are going to make me break my one Audacious lippy rule!

Just one? That's not even possible. Join us in the madness. Well, I am very satisfied with how it went this morning with the Sephora manager. She was very nice and sincerely apologetic and turns out she only got the last of my several e-mails. She said either someone at the store deleted it (maybe accidentally) or they just weren't being forwarded. She also said she watched the tape and will have a talk with that broad next time she comes in. We talked for about 10 minutes and I shared my mild ocd about swatching and reswatching and she does the same damn thing and said that's the point of the whole Sephora setup anyway. Had a laugh about that. Anyway, I got a ton of stuff in a pretty bag: MUFE shadows, Marc Jacobs shadow palette, Lancome mascara, Givenchy gloss, Nars matte lipstick, Nars gloss etc. I wasn't thinking on my feet, I should've thrown in an Audacious lipstick. hboy: I also got 2 20% off discounts that I will be using this week and next. She also gave me her card and told me to give her a call if there's something I want early access to and she'll get it for me. I might just see about that. So, I will continue shopping at Sephora. Trust me, the ban I was on was real. I don't play that. Here's pictures:

Yeah. I read stories online of people who never got any resolution from them. I wasn't going to let up even if I continued to not buy from them. You can't let things like that go. You can't let people think they've gotten away with something. I also liked that after the manager gave me that stuff she said she hopes I'll reconsider and will shop with them again. It wasn't Oh, everything's OK now because I'm giving you this stuff. I told her the sincere apology is all I was looking for anyway. That simple (but I will take the stuff, too :haha. Also, she said no one on the floor should be playing the role of loss prevention agent. The instructions are to assist and sell and they have people to look out for theft. Period.

That is so awesome! I'm so glad you got the sincere apology you deserved.

And she's 100% right that SAs are not loss prevention specialists and have no business pretending to be. I hope that message gets passed along more clearly to Sephora employees.

I finally got my hands on Dominique and got to play with her tonight! She is ABSOLUTELY adorable! Exactly what I was hoping she would be! Way to go NARS! I LOVE the formula. So creamy, smooth and pigmented. I can't wait to try on some of the other colors.
