I honestly don't see what the purpose of those powders , they have been so hyped due to the pictures. I think the quints are promising I will swatch those if I go again it was a fleeting visit and they normally don't sell out that quick. I don't understand why dior are still holding onto last years grand bal theme. It seems they just recycled it. Nail polishes were nothing amazing either. On a brighter note I bought the dior nude, any thoughts on this foundation ? I loved the sample I got a couple weeks ago so went ahead and picked it up today.

Hated both not buying either they are not highlighters, I say they are a bit similar to mac beauty powders especially the pink one the yellow one is weird it had some bits of glitter in it so I don't know what use this would have because it is way too yellow and slightly chunky and doesn't have enough glitter or shimmer to be a highlight . Extremely disappointed in them. The matte and shimmer lipsticks looked so gimmicky too I can't help but think dior just did it to be one of the first to have this dual lipstick in their range.

Oh what a let-down! I knew the gold was ugly, but the pink looks so chalky. Ugh! Thanks for the posts!!

I used mine up recently and just ordered it again. great foundation for normal and combination skin.dryer skin types have to moisturize a bit more but it's still great. good coverage great staying power

Star is the only Dior foundation I've bought but Nude sounds promising, too! I have to finish up Star first though, and then I can try Nude.

Guerlain meteorites perles. Gives me extra radiance and they are so lightweight they do not cake up like some other setting powders

I can't believe I haven't tried the guerlain meteorites, Next investment for sure! Have always wanted to try them but have never got round to it yet. Hopefully they have some special packaged holiday edition to draw me in. Anything packed pretty already has me half way reaching for my wallet.

there is a special holiday ones but I highly suggest getting something from the permanent line

I saw it in person it was just a pure glittery gold nothing wildly unique. I felt it was more glitter than anything and I felt it lacked a base colour. Would have liked it to be maybe a bit more opaque in color

Thanks for the tip! I love my shimmery / glittery products, so it might be right up my alley. But in the swatch in the above link, I totally see what you mean! I'm going to hold off until I can see it in person.

Thank you! I'm like a raccoon, haha, attracted to all shiny things. I am so impatient, I can't wait for the collection to be at Diliard's. It's up online at Nordies, but I don't have one around here I could easily make exchanged if I needed to, and not to keen on sending things back and waiting for weeks for my reimbursement.

Golden Shock and Golden Reflections came today. They are absolutely beautiful in the compact, but I'm not so impressed otherwise. You guys are right about Dior's shadows being hit or miss.

Sorry for the late reply, HOB. I was under the weather last week. The scent is Pomegranate---not what I would particularly go for but I wanted something different for fall.
I'm enjoying it.

I am on a serious dior kick lately... besides foundation, powder and a brush I also ordered two lip glows and 2 nail polishes
