I agree. And I REFUSE to doctor $50 lipstick. I don't love the shade THAT much. It might be different if I did. I'm glad I'm not the only one, lol

That's a bummer about your alls BD! I particularly dislike matte shades, cannot wear MAC retro Mattes for anything and BD was much more comfortable on me! I will say, it can definitely lean patchy. It does take careful application! I layered it carefully to get the best application .
Oh ladies, say it isn't so. I have not yet worn mine but with this feedback I'm going to make sure my lips are well exfoliated & moisturized. Maybe I'll even top BDw/
my Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss Controversy # 72.

I'm nervous of these now, because my lips can get quite dry. I already found Black Orchid a little dry.

I think BP might be in the TF semi-matte formula.
I would love to see BP swatched against BD -- and maybe even against Mac's FnF and SR... I find it difficult to wear mattes well, so I'm wondering if I should skip BD, stick with BP (which I have), and focus on the eye creams...???

I'll know better when I wear BD. I almost skipped it because I have BP and thought they might be too close. I think the difference is in the formula. There are
comparative swatches of BD & BP here on this thread. I don't recall seeing any of the other comparisons that you mentioned. I have FnF & SR and didn't even think of
comparing them because I had already decided to purchase BD. If you have enough burgundy lipstick I would put money on the cream shadows.

They're all up on Bloomies now. FINALLY placed my order

Despite the concerns, I ordered BD along with First Time and both cream shadows. Fingers crossed!

I had already purchased the holiday météorites from Macy's, so I ordered  Rouge G de Guerlain lipcolor Rouge    Parade 820 and the 'Coque d'Or' Iridescent Perfumed Powder because the bottle looks so pretty.  Although I    thought the colors in the eye & cheek palette were very pretty, I don't like co-mingled products and I already have    the Guerlain Peach Boy cheek duo and the Écrin 4 Couleurs Les Fauves 14  e/s Palette, so that was a skip for    me.     What did you order?
Wow I knew about the comingled thing but I thought it had to do with mixing creme and powder products but eyeshadow sand blushes too? Even though the blush is in a separate compartment? I was thinking about you when I received a palette with eyeshadow and lip colors too. I thought Medgal would hate this! Oh and I really want to order the perfume for the bottle too but I really want to try it first but you may have some company.
My Black Dahlia finally arrived along with some nice samples.  The sample in the jar is Jasmine Rouge body cream and OMG...I need a full size!
I really want to try the body products. I'm hoping they have Champaca Absolute in a body creme.

I have been wearing FT a lot and have had absolutely no issues with it. It is the most comfortable matte that I own. Much nicer than MAC. I did get BD yesterday, but I haven't tried it yet. Hopefully it wears just as nicely as FT. Fingers crossed!
