NARS Audacious Lipstick

Oh dear :haha:  . I resisted Rouge Gs for the longest time because I didn't like the bulky packaging. The packaging still annoys me because I can't put my lippies in a test tube rack but hey, can't have it all. This is yours truly wearing Fanny: Some observations: 1. Excellent wear - no feathering, fading whatsoever. I touched up just once during the day, but I didn't really have to.  2. I was expecting it to be a lot more vivid. Turns out it's not. Ah well, beautiful shade regardless. 3. My brows need fixing. 4. I need to learn to take pics properly. My head isn't this big. And I don't smirk in real life. Honest. 5. I had too much wine and I should go to bed.

I think I saw someone ask for a comparison of Greta with Mac Party Parrot. Sorry, I can't remember who it was... Or maybe I imagined the whole thing... Anyway, if you do exist, this might help:



L to R: Party Parrot, Bite Beauty Quince, Greta, Mac Catharina, Mac Fusion Pink

IMO, Greta is redder/ pinker. I can easily see the difference on my lips.

So I only have two of these so far, with another one in my cart to get during the VIB sale next week. The sad thing is I haven't even tried them yet as my lips are in the final stages of healing from a reaction I had to another product. It took a good 4 months to heal, but at least they're back to a point where I can wear lipstick at all! They can only handle creamier formulas at the moment, so no mattes for a while. But the Audacious lippies seem pretty creamy in hand swatches, so hopefully I can try them soon! Just being careful about trying new products one a time in case of another reaction, you know? I never realized what an impact lipstick had on my positive, upbeat attitude until I couldn't wear it for a few months! Can't wait to build my collection of these and finally try them all out. That will be a fun day!! Happy to see/hear all the rave reviews from people loving the lipsticks they got!

Buick, you are incredibly beautiful and your head does not look big! I love Fanny on you and now think it's going to have to come home with me.

It was me! Thank you Katred for the swatches! :bouquet: I saw it described as a pink-coral and didn't want to get another Party Parrot. That Bite lipstick is gorgeous!

And just how beautiful is Fusion Pink? It's one of my oldest MAC lipsticks but I still love it like I bought it yesterday.

Some swatches....the long strip is Charlotte left to right Maybelline Devine Wine Mac Fixed On Drama Mac Studded Kiss Mac Diva I noticed how the Mac lipsticks dragged and Charlotte did not...even Maybelline swatched smoother than Mac.

I have never noticed how close Diva, Studded Kiss and Fixed On Drama are until now and I'm actually wearing SK today.
