Does anyone know the difference between last year's Rouge Rubis and this year's Phenix np? Also, is La Flamboyante RAV the exact same shade as Flamboyante RA? Did you ever get the RAV elegante?

Hi there Winthrop. I happen to have both Rouge Rubis, 677 & Phenix, 687. Phenix has more orange than RR, which looks more like a true red.
I don't have RAV and just recently ordered Flambouyante.

I really love Envol IdO,  can't stop staring at it, but also can't really figure out how to fit it into my jeans and t-shirt lifestyle, lol.

Envol swatched peachy on me, there was hardly any pink. Its very wearable for any occasion I think! I didn't get it, I want to compare it with other pinkish IdO.

  [COLOR=0000FF]It's so, so pretty.  I have yet to wear mine but I was thinking that when I do I'll use it as a base for neutral eye looks w/my Chanel Quadrille palette and /or [/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]  my Dior Sundeck palette---which will work w/my jeans and moto boots.[/COLOR]   :haha:

I saw the collection briefly, but I missed out the lippies and nail polish. The highlighter was the star item to me, I tried it on my cheeks and the colour was gorgeous. It wasn't oddly golden and sheeny which I feared. I might picked it up since I haven't gotten myself any Chanel highlighters for almost 2 years and surely this is the one to pick. I also saw the new clicky glosses. The colours are stunning. I also like Sweet Star but haven't seen it at my counters yet.

Sweet Star doesn't stick around too long but I think you're correct, several places have not yet gotten it. I noticed that it's finally on Chanel.com

I asked at my Counter as I thought the RAV sounded familiar and might be a repromote, and was told it was different to the RA.

I wasn't interested in the RAV which was a pleasant surprise. I'm sure it will be gorgeous on many people, but I prefer more pink in my reds. That's why Palpitante RA is next on my radar!

I finally got around to buying the highlighter and Envol yesterday. Camelia de Plumes:

Envol compared to Abstraction and Emerveille:

Camelia de Plumes is just beautiful, a must have. Envol is super pretty, but if you have Abstraction and Emervielle I think you could get the same result blending just a touch of Abstraction with Emervielle.

Thanks for the comparison. Is Abstraction a perm item? Envol looks so pretty in your swatch. I have to swatch it again because it looked more peachy and less pink than Emervelle on me, which doesn't seem true.

I totally share in your love for Camélia De Plumes. I have not yet worn my Envol, and I frequently use my IDOs as bases for powder eyeshadow. Envol is so pretty
that I think I'll follow Elegant-one's lead and wear it straight with eyeliner for a simple yet (no pun intended) elegant look.
