I seriously thought it would have been all out war at the MUFE counter. I was there alone for almost an hour swatching with a list. One SA helped me find a color and another one even came over to mention that " you really must be into Make Up For Ever. You have been over here swatching for almost an hour!" I think that the reason it wasn't an issue was that no one was able to get the two discounts before so they just wrote it off. I was determined to find out for Specktra research purposes if we could or couldn't use it.

So how was everyone's Rouge event? I felt like it was a waste of time. I'd rather shop online in peace and quiet and get my cash back. Nothing special happened at my store, except there were 3 times as many people as usual. LOL. I don't ge how Rouge is so special, kind of glad I probably won't make it this year, the only useful thing so far has been the free shipping.

In a Mac world, people still sleep on MUFE. It's sad, but their loss.

I picked up Nars eye-paint or whatever (the gel eyeliner / eyeshadow) in Tartar. It was super pretty, and was an impulse buy. I get home, go to put it in with my eyeliners, and the lid was off!! The gel eyeliner was completely dried up and loose in the pot. hboy: Disappointing; gotta drag myself back out there to exchange it.

Apparently I have Black Gold already and I bought Black Gold at the Event. I'll gladly exchange it for something else but.. I have to return the all 3 and repurchase them plus the 3rd new color. So I can't put them away tonight.

Went to the event today, luckily my sephora maybe had 10 people. Again, college town with mostly young students who aren't spending 1k+ on makeup. It was nice, I enjoyed myself. I didn't get any samples though... Only the bracelet. I wish my sephora carried more high-end brands though

would have loved to swatch some rouge g's and other stuff besides taking a gamble online with swatches.

Now that's my kind of party---I so hate crowded events where you can barely move.

The last time I bought two of the same color. I went to a SiJCP and they couldn't manage an even exchange. So I suggested we return all 3 and repurchase 3 with the colors I wanted. It worked out that way. However tomorrow I'm going to an actual Sephora so we will see. I'm bringing the other two with me just in case they can't either.

It happens every year last year I waited an hour and made sure not to click a bunch of times because people were getting charged multiple times. Patience is key when it comes to this cause everyone wants to get it done and over with before everything sells out.​
