I expect basically the same exact type of deal with Cinderella as with Maleficent. It's foolish to expect more IMO and then leaves room to be pleasantly surprised if it does exceed expectations lol.
That said, even if it was just white packaging that sounds nice to me! Especially like an iridescent/pearly white.

Hmmmmm I would not exactly call it foolish imo to have high hopes for a great collection I for one have high hopes for it just like every mac collection that comes out if I don't like I just skip and never look back I'm still hoping for the best because begin postive is the way to go

This lipstick looks lively on her. It is too a light a shade for me to pull off in public and still try to be cute.[COLOR=6666FF]Let's hold it together ladies & gents. Maybe MAC will not disappoint. I'm trying to stay optimistic. This shade would be purrrfect in my opinion[/COLOR] [COLOR=6666FF]for a Cinderella collection. I wish Dodgy Girl looked this way on me. Cinderella is my most favourite fairytale ever, so I'm really looking forward to this collection. I just hope MAC won't screw up like they did with the Maleficent collection. That one was a major fail.

I agree. Talk about a disappointment! I wish I could say that MAC is going to knock it out of the park with this colleciton, but I doubt it. The only way I see that happening is if they do specktular packaging even prettier and eyecatching than the beautiful Alluring Aquatic collection. I guess time will tell. When Sephora did the Cinderlla Collection, the mirror compact was absolutely stunning. It was a hand-crafted beautfiul piece that really was done so very nicely with a lot of attention paid to detail. If they could do something as good quality as that, I would be more than happy.

I'm still in awe of what a failure the Maleficent collection was. How do you even screw something so awesome up? I'm optimistic about this collection but I won't be terribly surprised if it's lame.

Looking at that pic reminds me of MAC Quite Cute lipstick and for some reason I have a feeling that Quite Cute will be repromoted.

I would love for them to do something really elegant with the packaging but I think you're right. I could totally see them doing white packaging with shiny light blue trim..... but I want moooooore from them on this one.Knowing MAC it'll be basic black with a decal of her glass slipper on it, or white with the decal

Even in person I felt pretty "meh" about it when I got Hayli's gloss set in the mail the other day. The little cameos look really cheesy.
