Taj Mahal was my gateway into NARS blushes. I use it as a highlight or a blush. It's beautiful on deeper skin tones.

I really must look for the older posts when we were discussing the names. Does Nars reuse their product names? Like, some companies might have a eyeshadow shade and then a lipstick shade in the same name, or do corresponding colours, etc. I like the name but if they already have a product named Sophia, they might not do a Sophia audacious lipstick. Maybe Sophie, for Sophie Marceau ;-) Dorothy and Meryl were mentioned and would be cool. Veronica, Elizabeth, Ava, Rekha (a vampy, dramatic shade for sure!), Madhuri (something warm and rosy or red), Marion, Helen, Michelle, Kathleen, Eartha, Hema, Nutan, Sadhana, Pam, Sara... A random ramble this morning lol

Now that you mention that, I do slightly remember an eyeshadow named Sophia from Nars before :/

So far, I don't think I'm doing too badly in terms of the ones I want because nude/ peach/ light coral shades look a hot mess on me, which takes a bunch of them out from the start. But the more I read everyone's comments, the more I want...

No it doesn't pull brown even though it looks like it may in the tube. Its just a very deep cherry red.

Jeanne is a real stunner on. It just reminds me of that old hollywood deep red that the actresses wore. I love looking at it on my lips.
