Oh that looks beautiful on you! Bummer about the samples and extra bummer that it's so close to RP820.Got home and ripped open my box!! A little disappointed to see that I received none of my samples.
AAANYWAY!! As expected, Garconne is simply so lovely and stunning. Actual one-swipe opacity. However, in the lighting I've seen, it does look nearly exactly like RP 820. This saddens me a little bit because it pains me to have two $50 lipsticks that are so identical. I am pondering my decision now, but if Greta ever comes in stock, I'll be making an exchange for sure. This thanksgiving I will be going to a local sephora with Rouge Gs in store, and will be able to compare all the reds and pick a new one that is noticeably a little different. (odd, they say online only, but when I enter my home zip code it says in stock!!) Does anyone know how long I can hold onto an item before returning it with a receipt? I'll be going home in two week-ish.
Edit: Left is Rouge Parade and right is Garconne.

Does anyone know if Rouge G Le Brillant in Betsy or Beatrix is still available anywhere? Both are listed on Guerlain's website, but I can't seem to find those shades on any store websites (sephora, nordstrom, etc.) thanks!

While I was at it, I also ordered the Blanc #01 Meteorites (the newly reformulated ones) from eBay. The only ones I don't have now are #02, #03 and #04 of the newest ones. I'll get around to getting them eventually.

OMG so excited!! An online store here in spain has some great reductions on their makeup for White Saturday and I picked up the Claire Meteorites for 27 euros and Rouge G in Garconne for 25 euros which is very reduced. I didn't know what to buy, they have a lot of the Guerlain range, the new Kiss Kiss and all sorts (and also YSL and Clarins) The Rouge G they have are: Madame Flirte, Madame Reve, Gilda, Genna, Girly, Garconne, Garance, Gina, Gypsy, Gracia, Gracy, Gwen, Grenade, Gemma, Georgia, Gabrielle and Gisella. I'm not sure I picked up the best but it was a spur of the moment thing!!

Wow, that's pretty major. Awesome find!!! Naomi has Garconne and it's gorgeous. I have Geneva, Genna &Good news! Kind of! My package is being delivered today!! I'm not sure how or why.. it says it was shipped next day air. I panicked and checked my order, but I definitely clicked free shipping. As a VIBR I get free 2 day shipping. So usually when I order Wednesday, it comes Friday. I'm at class all day, so hopefully one of my roommates is home to answer the door!!

I didn't know which to get and I was worried they'd sell out at 30 dollars so I picked up Garconne, I don't have too many reds in my collection. Perhaps I should've gone for a warmer orangey red because they look better on me but this was a bit on impulse! I also could've looked at the lighter not-red shades, I just didn't know where to start!
