Enjoy your balls. I didn't mind the sponge because i never intended to use the song or a powder puff. I prefer using a brush.

I just think of it as a layer of protection for the balls....not something I want to use & have to wash every day. I'm washing brushes anyone so what's one more!

YES! I love that little sound as the balls hit each other and the side of the canister !!!! I'll bet the compact can't do that!!!

They make me smile each and every time I use them. Only here can we talk about the song of the balls without being called insane.
