A very creamy glaze is a great way to put it. And yes, Luca is a slippery formula. Olivier is too. And I do not like slip - I find it very high maintenance on my lips because it just moves around too much, so although I like the colors I am a bit disappointed by that. But you're also right that my lips are not very pigmented which I suppose is lucky for me because lip colors tend to show up more.
As far as the pearlized lippies, funnily I have Stavros which is also "highly pearlized" and that formula is amazing. Nothing like Luca/Olivier. So I don't think there's any way to know in advance unfortunately!
