Looks awesome and simply gorgeous on you! I was expecting it to be darker I realized that on TF darker shades the more u layer the more it settles in the middle lower lip cracks. I think because of the different oils he used in these lips and boys. War of the oils. Thanks for sharing! It's been cloudy here all week too!

Ok hopefully this helps! I went back and layered Liam and took pics indoors and in natural light without sunlight (totally overcast now). So you can see it's darker than the previous shot which was in sunlight. Also this morning I was having trouble with layering emphasizing my bottom lip lines but this afternoon it's not really an issue. Maybe the formula just needed warming up? Anyway, it's not ever going to look like a blackened purple, but it is possible to build it somewhat.

I'm so glad I'm not that into clothes, shoes and handbags! My poor wallet could never recover! Makeup is addicting and expensive enough, lol!

Well that is a good gift idea, although I prefer the flexibility of picking whatever 3 I want. Also I have to admit I am still a little annoyed about these boxes! Nobody was given the correct information about who would offer the boxes and when. We heard they would only be offered in store on the 26th and then they popped up at NM on Dec 1st (after I had already ordered elsewhere - that's what I get for being impatient and ordering in the wee hours of the morning LOL). And now here they are online at Nordies. I feel I've been befuddled out of my boxes! Of course it's just a box but you know I love my pretty things and that box makes for such a lovely presentation

Agree. Looks like a lot of the colors aren't even available on Nordstrom in those sets, like Julian <3

Julian seems to be a tough one to find. I ordered it on Dec 1 from Nordies and it's been backordered. No expected ship date - just says "Delayed".

I missed it on the Thanksgiving sale on TF.com so got it on NM.com on CB. It's my favorite one so far, and I'm debating if I should get a backup, even though I've never finished a lipstick before... How long do you think it'd take to get through the 0.7oz/2g with moderate, almost every usage?

And that sucks you ordered Dec 1 and still have no word! Did you order later in the day?

I have no idea but it's a great question! I've never finished a lipstick before either so maybe somebody else here can shed some light on this issue. But these lippies seem small enough that if you think you're going to use it most days, you should probably get a back up.

I ordered probably around noonish on Dec 1st so that was definitely late in the realm of Tom Ford - in my experience waiting past 7am is risky!

I think I ordered from NM around 9 or 10am (PST) so would be noon or 1pm on the east coast. I'm kinda afraid to place any pre-orders on the NM/BG websites, who knows if they'll notify you Dec 26 and say they had to cancel the order.. >< You'd hope they would know how much stock they'll get and remove the item when it's pre-sold-out! But apparently others seem to have had that problem with Saks or somewhere on Dec 1.

I ordered Ian and Flynn from NM on Dec 1. Tested Flynn but not Ian. Thinking I should return Ian since it's so sheer.. Did anyone else get/try Ian?? And does NM take returns if you've tried it? Also wondering if I should swap Flynn for Addison.

*gasps and clutches pearls* Never! Lol It's not the colour I want so I won't get it but at the most I would have swatched it once and gave it to my friend. I'm tossing things that are over three years old and obtained before I really became exposed to non-drugstore makeup and got more particular about cultivating my stash ;-)
