NARS Audacious Lipstick

I had the SAME issue! They told me it was out of stock.. But I sent them an email because my order was confirmed and it was on my shipping confirmation. I was mad when I got my order and vivien was on my receipt but not in my box.
UGH, yeah I looked at my shipping notice and while they are both printed on their, only LIV had a 1each packed next to it which makes me think they either don't have it to send yet or something BUT you can't charge me for something and not send it! AND not inform me you don't have it in stock. They'll be getting my wrath tomorrow.

They WILL be honoring my purchase whenever it's back in stock, I bought it during the sale, I will accept nothing less, that is NOT how you run a business, you can't sell items you don't have.

Exactly. They said NOTHING.. I looked at my box so pissed because I was looking forward to all of my lippies. I ordered twice from them and Dominique from Barneys. They haven't responded to my second email. I have to check again to verify that I wasn't charged for Vivien.

As others stated, I know Holiday shopping is crazy but thats why you keep count and get your tech/site ready.. Better management is needed and just common sense to tell your customers that "Oh, we're sorry... that's out of stock".. Something. Good luck tomorrow!

So I logged into my nars account and my credit card and they didn't charge me for the lipstick, but it's still on my order! How do you just not inform someone that you cancelled one of their items??

Maybe they will send it when it's back in stock? I agree they should at least tell you something though

After my horrendous experience wtih Nars online customer service I was sorely tempted to skip, but I just HAD to see if it lived up to the hype! Its a thinner formula than I prefer but glides on beautifully.

I got Leslie! Tried it on, very pretty. She's Gisela's darker sister. Also blotted it and the stain is very beautiful.

On the other hand, this is their respond to my complaint:

Thank you for contacting us regarding your NARS Cosmetics Audacious Lipstick in Marlene.
We have received your photos of the damaged item and would like to apologise that the item was received this way.
As a gesture of goodwill we would like to offer a refund of 25%.
Please can you let us know if you are happy to accept this partial refund?

Yes. I don't know their policies but I have had problems with their CS before. I crossed the option "I would like a replacement if still available" but this was their response.

I really don't know anything about this company but if they refuse to give you a replacement or issue a full refund (they may want the product back) then you might want to contact your credit card issuer. Most will reverse the charges if you show them you tried to resolve the issue in good faith. Hope you can get something done!

Thanks for the advise! I'm persistent. I won the last battle, so let's see what happens.

Eff out of here, really? Let us know what th eend result is, that is ridiculous... I don't think I'm EVER ordering from nars based on you all's experiences.

Oops my bad, I see it wasn't nars....
