Huh, finally the replacement for my Marlene seems to have been shipped! After their "gesture of goodwill" of 25% off - to which I said that, no, send me a replacement - I got a message for a return I had suppossedly requested, so I stepped up with the communication and looks like the fourth request
paid off and Marlene #2 it on her way to me.

I already said I don't need this and I don't I'm just looking at the picture and thinking "damn, that's a fine lipstick" that doesn't mean I have to buy it and it doesn't mean that it's so incredibly beautiful I want to hug the screen right now and it doesn't mean I'm going to go out tomorrow and buy it because I know I have similar colours even though OMG that looks so incredible on you and we have a similar skin tone so maybe if I'm lucky it'll look like that on me but I'm not opening the Sephora site and ordering it immediately no way because I thought about this already and I really, truly, honestly decided I was not going to order this one because hey, how did the sephora web site get open I have no idea and I'll just reach over and close it and not click on Silvia and not click on "add to bag" and whoops how did that happen, now I have to take it out and not hit "checkout" I am not going to order this incredibly beautiful, perfect purple lipstick, not going to happen...
STAHP MAKING ME WANT TEH THINGZ! ALL OF YOU! I have to convince myself that this one is too brown, because deeper browns tend to wash me out. Of course, it doesn't look a lot more brown than Jeanne and I love that one.
You wrote earlier about the nudes. I'm a bit iffy about them, too. If they are warm toned they might suit me though. Luckily I can see them irl next month!

My 21st is coming up and I would like to buy one of these babies to wear on the night. My dress and heels are white, jewellery is silver and my clutch is like a mauvey-pink. I'm thinking of having a sultry brown smokey eye, and either a pink, mauve or nude lip. Any recommendations for a lipstick? I can't decide but I'll definitely get my nails done in a colour that will match whichever I buy.

I'm looking at Raquel too. I agree Nars really hit a home run :yaay:
Anna or Anita....Anna if you want a mauve. Anita if you want a pink everyday sort of color. There is really a ton...but also check out Raquel and Barbara too...they are more on the nude side.

I've bought Brigitte and Raquel thus far. Both colours are probably super-similar to what I already own, but the packaging feels luxe and substantial; I think Anita is next on my list.

It will be my new 'unicorn.' I had to stalk Dominique for a while but I finally got it. Totally worth the hunt so I am trusting that Vivien will be just as worth the hunt!
