Maybe similar in that it's a compulsion? We all have peccadilloes and issues, but I find the extreme hoarding on the tv shows to be sad and scary.

I agree. Shows like Hoarders or Strange Addiction make me feel really uncomfortable. I know its a reality for some, but it doesn't need to be publicized. I just hope the people who really need it are able to get help.

It's hard to watch sometimes. I'm glad that there is exposure to these issues, though. I certainly got better about not holding on to (most) things

Thank you Kaira!I finally caught up with this thread. I'm so sorry to read about your motherthat's so scary! My uncle had a fall a couple of months ago and we were so scared he would have problems walking. But physical therapy kind of helped at rehab. I hope she recovers soon.
She's recovering quickly I think, she was walking a little better this morning
hopefully she'll be back to normal soon!

That's exactly what I think, they are so hard to watch sometimes.
But I guess we all have our weird things we do, they just took it to the extreme.
Luckily for me, I only hoard makeup, which is small so I can fit it in my drawers and nobody can see them haha
