Im not crazy about the square blush ombres.. however I do really like the packaging on the palettes and the lippies

Ripe Peach...I like the packaging a lot, I just hope the square blushes aren't a pain to open like the ones from the collection this year. Kindergarten Red sounds promising too, I want to see swatches first. Those are the two things I *might* pick up. 2015 is going to be a low buy year for me.

Thank you so much for these, Nadine! This spring is going to be hella expensive. All of the blushes, Sin, Victoriana, Opera, and maybe the Moodyblu quad are on my list.

I only bought two reds this year which were Mangrove and Mystical. I like Mangrove but the Proenza Schuler lipstick packaging is so wobbly at times. Mystical is not my usual choice of color but I've warmed up to it a few months later after purchase and it's a nice everyday color. I might buy Salon Rouge in a week or two but I'm not in a hurry for that one even though it looks great on everyone. To my luck, nearly all of my reds look different and are special in their own way, but my favorite one happens to be from the perm line--Russian Red--and it would be one of the few reds that I'd repurchase along with Sin, Deeply Adored, Scarlet Ibis, and Love Goddess.

Me too. I imagined these like the original ones that were circular. I'm not so fond of the square packaging mainly because of storage reasons and I prefer circular stuff, but let's hope that the quality of the blushes are smooth, pigmented, and blendable instead of the mess that was Sunset Beach. I'm more upset about the Bao Bao Wan beauty powder being in a square compact instead of the regular circular compact.

Oxblood is a for sure for me. Loved it since the first leaked pic we saw a bit back. I have so many blushes in the Ripe Peach color family so I'm pretty sure that's a skip. I had my eye out on kindergarten red but I'm not crazy about the square packaging. I guess I'll wait to see swatches. It's a low buy year, 2015 so I'm gonna be picky. Especially with Cinderella just around the corner.

OK what though??? Why did she specifically mention "reds in different finishes" when its only ONE finish??? That sounds insane to me. 6 all red (kind of?) lipsticks is crazy enough but all matte too? I love matte the most but why specifically talk about different finishes if you aren't going to offer them

Maybe because you have the matte lipsticks and the matching glosses - so, matte and very glossy.

The good news is that the latest MAC gloss formula is nice and opaque, plus very smooth, so you can apply it full strength for a very wet look, or blot it down and still have a really nice, even stain of color and just a subtle moist effect. It gives a lot of variety. The most recent matte lipsticks are similar - if you apply them heavily, they look a little moister than standard mattes, but you can blot them without losing pigmentation and make them look more velvety retro-matte. So basically, two products but up to six different effects, depending on how you combine them. Personally, I like that versatility.

Yep, the shades are exactly the same, although there's no mention if they have shimmer or not.

Hmm I wonder, maybe some have shimmer and some don't for different effects. I am guessing square packaging is the new "hot" thing. The last Riri & Proenza was square, Bao Bao will be too!

THose were some great reds... Nars Audacious has a color that reminds me of Mangrove that I love a lil bit more. I'm so glad I listened to you and got 5 alarm. I have nothing like it. *whispering* Can you believe I got rid of apres chic? I think I'm regretting it. LOL but it really didn't do anything for me and one of the huggable (can't think of the name) was close enough for me.

I guess I can wear standard opaque red lipstick in orange or blue red shades, but for sheer lipsticks, warm red is better. I'm guessing it just blends with my natural lip pigmentation better?

Of these new reds (Thank you Naynadine!), I think I'm feeling Barbecue the most, and maybe Opera. Oxblood is just gorgeous - reminds me of a blend of Pander Me and Runway Hit, with a little extra spring season to it. In other words,
