Did you see in the upcoming thread months ago when i had posted that there was an a lipstick called Oxblood, and everyone started freaking cuz there's was an oxblood coloured lipstick coming out, and i said "no, not oxblood coloured, it's called Oxblood", well, here it is! MAC is drunk.I just can't seem to wrap my head around a nude lipstick called Oxblood.
I literally just snortedMAC is drunk.
So pretty! Too bad the blushes don't have a mirror. Mac could've at least added that for the square packaging since they're going to be $30. :/
That price is the same as the Proenza blush ombres but those had a mirror, so fingers crossed the price goes down a couple dollars or they add a mirror. But probably neither of those will happen.$30.00
I just can't seem to wrap my head around a nude lipstick called Oxblood.
LOL, I am having the same problem with this. What I envision as Oxblood and what MAC is actually CALLING Oxblood does not compute. Sadly, some are going to be in for a rude awakening.Did you see in the upcoming thread months ago when i had posted that there was an a lipstick called Oxblood, and everyone started freaking cuz there's was an oxblood coloured lipstick coming out, and i said "no, not oxblood coloured, it's called Oxblood", well, here it is! Lol it sucks! I wanted a true oxblood color....sadly MAC is :loco:LOL, I am having the same problem with this. What I envision as Oxblood and what MAC is actually CALLING Oxblood does not compute. Sadly, some are going to be in for a rude awakening.
right! LOLI just can't seem to wrap my head around a nude lipstick called Oxblood.
Same same. I've wanted ripe peach for ages and i want it round so at least if it doesn't match my azalea blossom, i can put it in a palette. boooo!Read through it and went from over excited at Ripe peach and other ombre blushes to "ehhhhhhh" I hate hate hate those square blushes
Ugh Hopefully I can get over it before it comes out. It's so close to my birthday too. Maybe more pictures will helpSame same. I've wanted ripe peach for ages and i want it round so at least if it doesn't match my azalea blossom, i can put it in a palette. boooo!
I know. Me either. I keep wondering if it is a typo.I just can't seem to wrap my head around a nude lipstick called Oxblood.
It's not. Erin had hinted towards the misnomer a while back in one of the early buzz threads. Once I heard about this collection and the Spaniard influence, it only seemed logical that the "Oxblood" lipstick would be apart of it--considering how significant bulls are in Spain's culture.I know. Are you getting it? It's a skip for me. I have enough nudes. I just bought a couple from ColorPop.It's not. Erin had hinted towards the misnomer a while back in one of the early buzz threads. It also makes me think of Hemingway as well, lol

Après Chic is my favorite red of all time and I wish they would bring it back. It's the only MAC lipstick that I finished, and I own over 100! I even bought a backup from a nice Spektra member in the clearance bin. If I could have bought ten of them I would have! The closest dupe I've found for it is Chanel's Vendome. Sigh. The struggle is real.Apres Chic was nowhere near as cute and flattering on me as 5 Alarm. Even the red Huggable is sort of "meh" on me, compared to 5 Alarm. I guess I can wear standard opaque red lipstick in orange or blue red shades, but for sheer lipsticks, warm red is better. I'm guessing it just blends with my natural lip pigmentation better? Of these new reds (Thank you Naynadine!), I think I'm feeling Barbecue the most, and maybe Opera. Oxblood is just gorgeous - reminds me of a blend of Pander Me and Runway Hit, with a little extra spring season to it. In other words, :drools:
