Yes, like Nars or worse. Check out Haven's posts in this thread. Plus even in the best case scenario if they have what you order and send it in a reasonable amount of time you have to sign for delivery, even if it's just 1 lipstick.

The in store launch for the US is the day after Christmas. Now, does that mean they will still be available online that day too, I don't know. LOL! I'm so confused.

I'm mad because I was hoping even with a pre-order they would go ahead and swipe my card so I wouldn't have to have these people have my info written down on some 'secured' piece of paper. Psssh. Just what I need for it to end up in the wrong hands. And because I want it on the 26th and don't want to pre-order on Neiman's.com (all these backorder horror stories) I run the risk of them presale-ing all their in store stock. UGH! Now I really do have to be up there before the stores open on Friday. This is as bad as having to be at my MAC store before a special launch. But at least with MAC if you are there early enough you are guaranteed to have what you want.

^^ You could preorder on NM and then cancel your preorder if you can really buy one on 12/26.

My understanding is they will be online on TF, NM, Bergdorfs, Saks, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales on 12/26. Whether the sites that presold (NM, Bergdorfs, Saks) will have all shades or be missing the ones that presold out is anyone's guess. TF.com told me they will have all shades available. How reliable that statement is is also anyone's guess.

But dang, you are right. Who knows how reliable any of this really is. Guess we will find out on Friday morning.

The few times that I've ordered form NARS it was really slow. I don't have that much in my stash but most of
what I do have came from other places. What's their story Sis???

Ps not sure what colours to buy I have my list it's gone from 20 to about 40 I was trying to sort out which colours I really would like it's so hard then had to take trip to me mums I'm still here too lol going back later and not much batt left now ( didn't think I need it ) anyhow I'm still deciding :(

They did have that deal earlier on with the preorders but I think the box presold out because it's no longer available. They'll supposedly have the boxes in-store on 12/26 but whether or not they'll have them online again I don't know. It would be nice if Nordstrom had them online on 12/26.

Wow, how unfortunate and aggravating. It's amazing how these big companies seem to not care how their websites/ordering are so dysfunctional.

They were a hot nightmare mess

They double/triple charged people, SLOW or no email, slow shipping, missing orderes. You name it, they screwed it up.
