Yep, pretty much how I felt, although I kinda like the darkest shade on too but for the price eh.

The copper shade is really really pretty, but boy it pronounces every line, wrinkle, skin fold - everything & anything.

I got my Marsala lipstick and it makes me look 500 years old LOL. I'm about NW43 for reference. And my Bite Beauty trio came melted with 2 of the same lipstick! I think I need to heed the signs and stop makeup shopping for a while!

Thank goodness I jus saw this. I was doubtful about that color... it reminded me of my grandmother's lipstick color too much.

[COLOR=0000FF]  Sorry your 50 shades set isn't enamoring you Sis.  I've not yet tried my Marsala lipstick on, and probably won't[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]  until after the new year!  I don't think it's a color that I would have selected had it [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]not been part of a promotional[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]  campaign.[/COLOR]

Meddy on me the shade is very very close to TF negligee which I love!! Ps: it has an artificial chemically scent though which I could have done without!!

Yes I HATE the scent! None of my other swphora Pantone lipsticks smell like this one

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. My marsala lipstick is extremely pigmented! This has never happened to me before....being the one off with a product. I do have weird coloring though (Greek & Native American), so I'm not surprised the color works for me and others aren't happy. It's usually the reverse where lipsticks are concerned. People buying nearly every Audacious lipstick and I could wear one.

The smell however is very old school drugstore lipstick-y.

I just got the 50 shades of grey es set Give into me set. Eh, not sure that I'm really loving it. The shadows are ok much different than the pic on Sephora. There is a very perly white, a coppery bronze shade which I like the shade but its insane reflective shimmer on the lid, there is a light dove grey shade which is kind of pretty but not very pigmented & then there is a dark slight green grey black shade which I like. The gloss is a pale pink, mostly shimmer shows on the lips, the lipstick is a pale warm nude ...just eh on me. I couldn't get any good pics because its so dark here, maybe I'll try later. I also got Marsala - it looks muted rosy warm brown on me, not as pretty as it looks on others. :meh:

That's disappointing to read. Mine is being delivered today but Im not picking it up until Friday.

Thanks for the swatches. You weren't kidding when you said the shadows aren't how they appear to be on the product page. I like the copper and olive shades, too, but not sure if that's enough to keep it at all. The lip products look meh to me. Guess I'll turn my refund from that into an exchange for my first Guerlain lip color.

Exactly. I'm returning mine. The lip products are just blah. I liked the shadow shades in the Sephora photo, so yes, its disappointing.

I'm sorry you didn't get exactly what you thought you were getting. That's definitely disappointing. The shadows look decent. I like the deep olive tone. None of them look really special, though. I can see what you mean about the copper shade showing lines. It's even showing all the texture in your finger.
