I'm sorry you didn't get exactly what you thought you were getting. That's definitely disappointing. The shadows look decent. I like the deep olive tone. None of them look really special, though. I can see what you mean about the copper shade showing lines. It's even showing all the texture in your finger.

Yeah, I had high hopes for it but thats ok. Normally their shadows have a lot of pigment but the one dove grey shade just lacked.

Hola, people. Merry Christmas and all that good stuff. Elegant, I'm sorry the MUFE set didn't work for you. I love mine. The lipstick is a great nude on me. It's like a more brown/beige version of Anna by Nars. The lab shine diamond glosses are like those sheer Chanel glossimers that are for added shine. It's fine over the lipstick, but I prefer it without. The one disappointment in the quad, for me, is the gray shade. It's the only artist shadow I bought that I returned. I was flipping through the lookbook that comes with the set, though and they suggested that for the crease. I did that today to wear out and put the darkest shade all over the lid and loved the effect. Still, it should be better quality, but one out of four isn't bad. The real disappointment for me was the blush trio. The pink and orange shades were really hard. I couldn't pick up much pigment no matter the brush I used. I don't know if it's just mine and I'm not ordering another just to find out. They should've chosen matte shades for the blush since iridescent is their weakest finish to me. The highlighter is gorgeous, though. I returned the trio today, but I am buying that highlighter shade separately! I'm sad I had to give back the little brush and pouch, though. I think I might want that berry aqua lip set since the stain is supposed to be an exclusive shade. Apparently so is the darkest shade in the shadow quad and that's why you can't find that number under the individual shadows.

My Bite Beauty Trio arrived today. They were fine... just a little sweaty.

The Marsala lipstick is actually quite lovely. I'm glad I caved in and got it.

Oh, I forgot to mention I love the liquid liner in the MUFE set. I'm usually anti-liquid liner because I suck at it, but I got damn near perfect wings on my first shot. The UD liquid liner was the best I had tried up until now, but MUFE is better because the brush is firm and the liquid doesn't feather out. It's ultra black, too. And try as I might, that Bite lip agave stuff is not for me. I bought that new one, smashed and it's just..no. No pigment whatsoever and I cannot get over how thick and sticky it is. I'm also branching out and trying glamglow thirstycleanse. I've used it twice a day for 2 days now and I don't know how long to give it to determine if it works or not. I have already noticed that I don't have the flakiness around my nose that plagues me. Rubbing my nose until I look like rudolph isn't a thing since I've been using this. I noticed a few tiny bumps and some tingly after use, but I don't know if that's just my paranoia or what. It cleared up quickly, though so I'll wait and see.

I'm also branching out and trying glamglow thirstycleanse. I've used it twice a day for 2 days now and I don't know how long to give it to determine if it works or not. I have already noticed that I don't have the flakiness around my nose that plagues me. Rubbing my nose until I look like rudolph isn't a thing since I've been using this. I noticed a few tiny bumps and some tingly after use, but I don't know if that's just my paranoia or what. It cleared up quickly, though so I'll wait and see.
